Discuss: How much school sucks and how awesome summers going to be and how sad you are to see spring break go and some sleeping tips for me :funone:

My Spring Break ended last week. It was surprisingly easy to get back into my normal hours.

Wow, you got yours late. Mine was in early March :p. If you want to go to sleep read for like 15 minutes or take a relaxing shower. Lowers your heart rate and lets you fall asleep easier. How long was your break?

Same as Ali (who never goes on MSN anymore :( Did I really scare you off that time or something? o-o''''''''') No spring break, got a Bank Holiday today though ^-^.

Summer is going to be the bestest, I can't wait for it, I just wish I didn't have to suffer exams in between.

And sleeping tips would bee...bath before and horlicks, but that's very girly really, so I don't know how eager you'd be to do that o-o.

*needs to start revising* *feels the positive urge to do so* This is a good sign *might get biology out*

And :o!! Tenerife for allllllll that time? You're going to be so unbelievably tanned :o! Woah, that's ace :D. The summer after this one will be a lot like the summer just gone, everything is over and it's super long because we leave our school/sixth form/college immediately after exams :D.

I know but revision is ebil. I just can't do it. I had my French oral this week and it was a complete disaster! I haven't even written my Spanish one yet. Feck.

Yeah, we're booking it around Christmas time/early next year and it looks like I'm going to spend 10-12 weeks out there in the summer. We've already found a good apartment which is £320 a week but sleeps 6 so I'd be paying just over £50 a week which isn't too bad at all. If we book flights early, we can do them for under £100. I'll have A-Level Spanish by then, so with any luck I should be able to work out there while I'm there which would just cover my living costs. So all in all, I only need to earn about £700 over the next year to afford it. :D

Then, I have 1 friend that's staying there the whole time and doing the same as me, then the 4 other spaces are going to change every week or fortnight or so. So hopefully I'll be on holiday with about 25 people over the course of the summer.

Yes...we've been planning this trip for years.

    Ah, wasn't last summer amazing?!

That sounds so awesome!!! You really can tell you've been planning it a while, but it'll be hellish great fun for you!! :D. I envy you with A level spanish though, I couldn't really manage KS3 German o-O, not that there was a KS3 test or anything, but you know what I mean :p I don't have GCSE in any language (well, English o-o). It ought to be great if you can speak the lingo and things ^-^.

25 friends sounds good too, means you don't have to run the possibly minute chance of falling out with someone and being stuck with them for however many weeks :p Though I guess with 6 people it'd be easy enough to avoid o-o. I'm sure it wouldn't come to that though :D You're too lovely :p.

And I looooved last summer, up until about a week until our GCSE results were due, at that point I couldn't stop thinking about how I hadn't revised and how I was going to do crap and what if I didn't even get the grades to get into sixth form and allll this jazz, that bit was hell o-o' But otherwise it was grand :D.

Don't GCSEs seem silly now? Because you realise nobody actually cares about them once you have them. :p

Funny to hear you say that, I remember you being super freaked over them

I know, it's really annoying too because my A levels are probably going to be rubbish and my GCSE's were pretty damn good :(. It's annoying though, all the teachers used to go on about how KS3 didn't matter, GCSE's were the big thing, they were with you for the rest of your lives and there was no avoiding them and yadda yadda yadda, and as long as you got enough to get into sixth form for A levels it reallllly didn't matter -_-. Stupid people at my school.

    Ditto. Schools are stupid.
It's awful, I know I need to do well in my A-Levels, I want to do well in my A-levels and I still can't be bothered to revise. Planning Tenerife is so much more fun.

Note to self: Your mother will not allow you to go to Tenerife if you don't pass this year's exams. More to the point, she'll kill you. Death = No Tenerife.

And I'd rather play maplestory then revise, that's terrible .

You're mother is a meany :( My mother would soooo do the same like, but I'm being sympathetic here :p. You'll do fabby in your exams anyway ^-^ You're actually revising and not on MSN like I am o-o''

Nah, I just like to think I'm revising. I actually keep wandering between my room and the spare room where the computer is. I'm getting nothing done. I got my Spanish dictionary out though, so 10 points to me.

That'd be 100!! I just took my pots through to make room for revision books, how many points do I get? :p

I honestly do just want summer to be here, now >-< I'm going on holiday with Fox, I just want that to be like...tomorrow :p With no exams or anything in between.

You know, thinking about it, Study Leave is such a silly thing. They expect you to be revising months before it, so why not start it months before? :p.

Lake District for two weeks *griiiiiiiin* It'll be fabby ^_^. The weather is normally better there then people give it credit for, poor place :(. Plus it has some of the most beautiful scenery in England :D. ...Well, depending on your taste I guess :p.

Atleast you've got your book out, I have SATS all through out this week, Science ones being tommorow and I haven't even opened my science books :( I planned to revise the whole of this weekend, and I've done nothing :p

SATS don't mean a thing hun, as sooon as you get to GCSE they tell you they didn't mean anything *eyeroll* I think all they do is help determine what set you'd go in for GCSE lessons, but depending on the school subjects like Geography and History and the like are mixed ability anyway, so yeah, means sooo very little.

Plus, when you're older and school is in the past, you don't put SATS on your CV or anything, GCSE and up is what you put on it, so no worries chuck! ;)

 Aww thanks for that! I guess I should revise anyway though, in both Math and Science we get set. If I get put in a lower set, I'm stuffed for GCSEs :p
Dammit! Why are all these tests linked?! -_-

*starts revising* SOH-CAH-TOA! SOH-CAH-TOA! SOH-CAH-TOA! I better not forget trig!
