I am actually very upset but very pleased with this.

I have been working the past few days on a Ezine , hence the signature. I was just writing one hoping that it would be enough to get Shadow to start the team back up.

I wanted those few moments of glory, but now I wont have them since what I wanted accomplished has been accomplished with out my work.

Uggghhh I just confused myself.
SWEET!!!! ITS BACK!!!!!

*Rushes to write application*

Thats your problem. You should of consulted an Administrator before taking such things into your own hands. As Hydrogen said, its been in the pipeline for a while, and never got implemented, so therefore, you consulting him would of saved you alot of time and bother for the utter most boring newsletter I read.

Like many people said, the only bit I liked was the interview with Mumei, which was confusings, as it was not set out in a decent format. For example:

Q. Where do you live?
A. Blah blah blah.

You also chose the wrong way to set out such a news letter. So therefore, yours wasnt even that good.

Congratulations Casilla and Frizzle! I know you both will do a great job :).

It sounds like it's going to be good. I would apply but I am not sure on how it's going to be. Maybe after I read a few and see how it comes out then I might apply.

Just so everyone knows, we'll be accepting applications until Thursday morning. (really early morning for me, middle morning for Frizzle...), so I encourage everyone to fill out an application that wants to help out.

You should, too, juju! =P

Aw I really would but I don't know how it's going to be or what's going to be expected. I'd rather wait. Plus I don't have a good sample of my work. :p

Will we still be able to apply later on after it's been going on for a while?

Whoah, sounds good. I guess it'll be good to read up on all I've missed. My dumb 2 week of codex absence.

I think I might apply, most of my sample work is all formal essay junk though. :p

Yes, of course. Any essay style, or even if there's a particular post you're very proud of. =P Creative works, but not poems, are also acceptable.

Please keep your applications to those things that could be useful in determining your proficiency in formal writing.

do you accept freelance articles? I might wanna write an article someday, but prolly not consistant enough to fill an app as a full time reporter

I agree, I think I could write a few articles here and then but even if I could I wouldn't have enough time to write articles constantly.

In this thread, please let us know what you think of our decision as member approval is extremely important to us :).

I think that someone else shouldve been chosen because Cassila is already a Finance team leader, and now a NeoCodex News Editor not considering the amount of work she needs to be doing, but you should give some other people a chance, then choosing 1 person for 2 jobs...

I would have to disagree, I think she is the best choice for the job.
And she's juggling them more than well enough.

Yea well... you might have no seen the other contestents for the job...
It doesnt matter alot of who is the BEST but as long as that person is good and could handle the job well, because you cannot have 1 person doing 2 or 3 jobs that someone else wants... everyone should get a chance..

We can't? I don't see why not. If the person is willing to do it.. then why not? For example... take Ali. She's admin and Private Leader... and she helps out with LOADS of other things... she's best for the job and she can do it.

I firmly stand behind the principle that the most capable person should get the job...regardless of who they are or how they are affiliated with you. If they can do the job the best, then they should be doing it. In this case, that is casilla and frizzle. However, everyone makes mistakes, so if we did, maybe you can suggest a better person? And we'll see if we can have them be editor as well :)

in my opinion Casilla and Frizzle are the best candidates for this position. They are almost always grammatically correct, and on many occasions have pointed out my errors so that I can hopefully be able to improve.

Yes Casilla is already Finance Leader, but how would that interfere with anything? She is a hard worker and very talented so I am sure that she would do a great job at both. Also i am sure that if things didn't work out for the best that Casilla would ask for someone to take her place.

Everyone shouldn't get a chance. Some people are just more qualified than others. Frizzle and Casilla are both very talented and qualified and they have been pointed out to be the most qualified.

You do know that all admins are not retired right?

Actually... I think all admins ARE retired. I believe smods and admins get it automatically. It's just mods that are not automatic... oh... please do correct me if I'm wrong though >_<

But on all other points though... Agreed :D

lol I wasnt applying for the job...
But thanks i got 3 votes anyone else?

and are you saying that retired member is higher then admin? lmao

I geuss whatever if everyone just doesnt care whethere they are a leader or someth or they are just a regular member.. then watever.. but before you shouldve done the whole thing you shoudve considered people who dont have a job....

O Im sorry then I geuss no one else on codex is talented enough...
