So basically with me new experiences with Dual Booting I have started messing around with multiple partitions. So I have came across a few questions that Google Couldn't answer for me.

1. If I reformat my computer now, I will still keep the new partitions as long as they are not the partition that I reformat, correct? I am pretty sure I read that.

2. If I set a partition to handle something will it keep all of a program and files in that partition? I am trying to set up a separate partition for just music. So lets say I dedicate a 50 gig partition to just music would it be able to contain Lime Wire, Itunes and all the music and not worry about anything getting out of that partition, IE Viruses and such?

3. What happens If I just want to delete everything on that partition and reallocate the space to a old partition?
