Linkage

This is basically a Vid of fiddy and G-unit, at a rock-type concert, and getting booed

This has gotta be one of the highlights of the festival - 50,000 people all throwing bottles at fiddy and his G unit crew. I was in the middle so managed to take this video on my camera and it turned out pretty good!

THIS IS NOT IN CANADA! ITS READING, UK

Just to add a bit more... everyone was doing this cos for a start Reading is mainly a ROCK festival and 50 cent and G Unit arent exactly the best option for the main stage..especially right before Green Day headline :-| Also, they were only on stage for about 20 minutes out of their hour set cos the bottle throwing was too much and someone also managed to throw one of those fold-up chairs on stage LOL I think that was the limit and fiddy said something like "oh thats it..fuck this shit..were out" threw the mic into the crowd and ran off stage :-) worked out good tho cos Green Day came on earlier to fill the time so played half hour
longer than they would have :-D All worked out perfect!

And, this was a comment someone made...

Bad Management !! Wrong artist, wrong gig.
Maybe Oasis should play at a hip hop Festival ?

That made me laugh my ehad off

Man, I wish I was there

I hate to agree with Speaker, but I feel the same way. Fallout Boy, Panic! and Dashboard? And people pay to go to the Reading Festival?
Besides Pearl Jam... every band there I've listened to listed there is terrible ._.'

Meh, we have different tates in music Simon =/

    I don't like Dashboard though...

    Ali's list for Reading 2006:

Friday - There's actually nobody I particularly want to see that day so I'll probably hang around the main stage a lot and generally wander round the site. I know about 50 people from college who are going and we plan on all meeting up a lot.

    Saturday -
    Paramore
    Alexisonfire
    The Futureheads
    Dirty Pretty Things
    Arctic Monkeys
    Muse

There will be clashes. That makes Ali sad...

    Sunday -
You say party! We say die!
    Larrikin Love
    ¡Forward, Russia!
    The Dresden Dolls
    Maximo Park
    Taking Back Sunday

Again, probably some clashes that I need to iron out.

The only bands I've heard of in your list are TBS and Alexisonfire, and of course the Monkeys :p

    Suggest i check them out??

    LOL!

Agreed. "Pop-punk" is just a pseudonym for terrible music. Pop and Punk are easily two very opposite styles of music, and to avoid getting bashed by the Punk lovers, the Pop- prefix is added. Who's Pop-Punk?

    - Avril Lavigne
    - Simple Plan
    - Good Charlotte
    - Greenday

    'Nuff said.

Out of that list, or any pop-punk bands, all I like is (older)Blink 182, and Green Day. The rest is Punk or Emo, or both -_-
