Jim McMahon won the superbowl for the Bears in his 4th year...everyone thought he was good and after 15 years, he retired, not being in the top 20 in a single QB category. Ben was given amazing receivers, great RBs and one unbelievable defense, much the same as Jim Mcmahon in the 80s. I'm simply saying that at least 12 of the starting QBs in the NFL would've had no problem doing the exact same thing with the talent he had around him. He's a very talented, and very smart QB...just probably not as good as some think...we'll see where his stats are in 10 years. Jesus, look at what the Bears did this year with virtually no QB at all!
Randel El...... ok but not amazing. Hiens ward....... pretty damn good all around reciever.
Washington? Nothing special.
Willie Parker....... pretty good, but not any better than Edgerin James..... and colts with manning lost.....

Your wrong, defense does win Superbowls.defense doesnt win superbowls they always say. guess thats why the bears didnt make it. i'll give him the fact he had a great all around everything. defense offense. but you ever notice theres no good wrs unless you got somebody good throwin to em. llok at tom brady hes a great qb. deion branch wouldnt be great without him
Remember Tampa in '03? I wouldnt say their offense was that great that year.
/me goes off to try and find another example.
"The best offense is a good defense"

I live in NY and have been a Giants fans for eyars since the 49ers playoff collapse.giants are goin to the superbowl this year mark my words. they have a ton of great players and the new potenial is grat. also watch the colts titans, and possibly cardinals this year
This team has to win this year with a mix of vets and young players and I;ve bet my bro theyre going to the SB. Its all on Manning.

Why? I have confidence in the team I believe in, and who do you think is going to win?lol how much did you bet...hope it wasn't to much lol
The steelers again? *laugh*
It frustrates me that Ben Roethlisberger was so incredbily hyped, I admire his achievements but all they needed from ben (the steelers) was for Ben not to make dumb mistakes and Ben did just that.
If you watched Eli last year in the beginning of the season, he had incredible comeback drives that won the game for them. That Denver drive still gives me spooks when I watch it. I want to watch Roethlisberger shoulder the load like Eli has done, and thats when I will give in to the fact that he is good or mediocre.
The redskins, that WR core is pretty good but Brunnell is getting old, and with Campbell waiting at the helms, he could lose valuable playing time.
But hey, thats just my personal opinion along with the idea that Green Bay should give more playing time to Rodgers but with favre a legend there, will it happen?

Brunnel and Favre definitely need to retire.
