Same here! I actually thought I got it the other day, because I was on the boards, and I looked at somebody's user lookup. I went to have a look at their Tyrannian Flotsam pet... and it said I got the Mediocre avatar, but I hadn't, it was a fake random event. They annoy me so much... 

Edit: I heard that you have to land on the Earth Faerie on the Wheel of Mediocrity...

at one ti'me, I play that wheel almost like 10 ti'mes a day for couple of days, seems land quite abit on the fireballs or the bites.  most I won is like 200np, never ever got that earth faerie, seems like a tough av to collect.

alright thanks for letting me know and I quit that wheel since I never seem to ever win(excet the first day ad I think everyone won)
