    Agreed, to a certain extent.

You don't take steroids. Do what Jared did. Walk to subway daily, and buy low fat meals. Then run laps, get proper sleep, not too much, not too little, and get the fuck off the computer :p

Look into protein supplements, do not take steroids or creatine in your position. Creatine adds bulk, exactly what you don't want to do. Whey protein is great, comes in a variety of flavours, will help you tone your body accordingly.

Supplements and drugs alone will not do anything, you need to change your eating habits aswell, remember "you are what you eat"? Well, it's surprisingly true, if you're not giving your body the required nutrients, and you're filling it with garbage, well, you can do the math.

Finally, your work out routine, if you want to lose weight, you should be doing a lot of reps with lower weights. This will not only tone your body but also help you lose weight. You don't necessarily need to buy a gym membership, if you buy a set of weight adjustable dumbbells and have a nice pair of running shoes, you can do almost any excersise you can do at the gym.

Are you kidding me? Life isn't nice, kid. You can't go through life expecting good news all the time.

The reality of it is that you're acting like a really pathetic, weak, incapable person.

I'm getting sick of these 12-year-old users saying "be nice!!!!!1111" to me whenever I post the truth.

Infamous, yo uare incredibly pathetic for that statement. I recomend changing your diet, but don't actually go on a diet unless you know it's a good one. When you change your eating habits, it has to be forever if you want to stay health. Second, you don't need pills and definatly not steroids. Not unless you want to be worse. Get a trainer at the gym if you can afford it or if there are offers. Otherwise, do a weight that suits you and work the muscles you wish to make better. Most nautilis machines have a sticker showing the muscles used. Do everything you can, but don't over do it. It might take a while, but it'll work.

There's been a lot of that from him lately.

Mm, I'm a bit overweight too...
All I do is watch what I eat..
Not eat more calories than I know I'll burn off...
Not drink so much soda, swim, run, etc...
You don't need a "diet", or rigerous exersize...all you need to do is watch how you eat and get a bit more active.
I've slimmed down quite a bit in the last month, simply by watching what I eat....I get such little exersize.

About the carbs, by the way, low carb diets are not good at all. Carbs are the main source of energy, so if you don't eat any, you will be tired, and nothing will work for you. Happened to my mom. Low fat diets are bad as well. When you are deprived of fat, you body does suffer. For example, my grandma started loosing her hair from it. Don't get rid of something totally. Eat healthy, but include a little bit of everything.

Garr, I meant calories :p I get confused easily, about that stuff, xD

Also, I never said anything about completely cutting it out - like Darkness said, its BAD.

That's okay, and I know you never said anything about cutting it out. I just kind of went into it so that people know. ;)

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I can stand to lose 30-40 pounds before college. You know, when sex and getting drunk is all the rage...

And kudos for finally killing off infamousx. Lol, he's incredibly insensitive.

So then, seriously all you need is to watch what you eat. Cut out all soda, including diet, and cut off juice. No more candy and ice cream. Sunflower seeds are a good thing to eat if you're hungry. (With the seeds so it just keeps your mouth occupied). And run for an hour a day. Lift weights every other day.

    It works. Promise.

To build up chest you have to do pushups, and bench press, for legs you have to do leg lifting, and leg pullups, and pull downs... For back use the rowing machine, for stomach do situps(best way) For for tricepts use pull backs and just regular waight lifting.. and for shoulders also do pushups..and for back use the rowing machine..

    Thats all you basicly need..

    Heres the schedule I use:

    Monday: Shoulders and tricepts
    Tuesday: Stomach, and chest
    Wendsday: Back and legs
Thrusday: A little bit of everything
Friday: Situp's only like 200 that day... you can do less and build up.. do like by 20's and stuff and thats all for that day..
Saturday: REST, No exersize at all! You have to relax that day liek take a hot bath because your muscles will be like blocked.. like I dont know how to explain this but your muscles need to relax...
Sunday: Jog a little bit and like 50 pushups and 50 sit ups...

Follow that guide, in like 3-5 months you will see results..

REMEMBER: Dont just start with heavy weights right away just start with light and do 3 sets in each set 12 times..

This is too rigorous for fatter people, like myself. I've tried guides and stuff. If you haven't done much physical activity or you're looking to lose weight more than build mass, just walk/run a hour a day, eat less, cut out sugar, and lift weights till you see fit every other day.

++EDIT: I lost 10 pounds in two weeks, if that helps.

And don't overdo your exercise if you want a firmer bulk, you should also know the science behind it:
After longer periods of exercise, like its too stressful for the body, the body releases hormones that shrinken your muscles.

And in the longer run if you don't have any Heart and LUng problems, try swimming. Over time you can get that V-shape body ^_^
