That character in Clerks. is the embodiment of all the crap anti-smokers spew out of their mouth, despite that Kevin Smith was an anti-smoker when he wrote the scene.

You can even tell. For example, in Clerks., Silent Bob doesn't really smoke the cigarette. He just kind of jams it in his mouth. In Clerks II, on the other hand, he smokes cigs at every end. Funny thing is, that the first scene about the anti smoking almost resulted in Harvey Weinstein not buying the movie.

Pot of course. Ciggaretes just relax you and thats it. Ive smoke crystal meth before though. It was mixed with chronic and I didnt know. I was up for 2 days with out sleeping and lost like 5 pounds at least

How is smoking cool? No, really? Inhaling the smoke of burning tobacco, tar, and whatever else? That makes people cool? So, by that logic, if you fill a building with tobbaco and tar, light it on fire, and stand in the middle of it all, breathing deeply, you are automatically the coolest cat in town?

People don't smoke because it's the "cool" thing to do. Most people that do smoke usually are bummed out about their life, and need a reliever. Unfortunately, a small reliver leads to a quick addiction.
