Its all hooked up and I got my network goin. But everyti'me I restart my computer the network is disabled and I have to set it up again.  I am on 56k so I dont wanna do the other computers connect thru the internet on my comp.....I just want to share my moms printer, her and my files, and be able to play games... Any helpw ill be greatly appreciated.

What's the network you have? I'll probably be able to help with a dlink. I had many problems with a dlink but finally got it up and running pretty smoothly.

I don't think he's sharing the internet connection, just the files & printers. 56k is slow enough as it is :p

But I thought if you had two computers, you don't need a hub. don't know what type of connection it is though :p . and also, you can setup a firewall so that only the other comp can access the other comp
