Because you obviously didn't pay attention? It was all over the place if you actually watched. He founded the Steve Irwin Conservation Foundation which was later named Wildlife Warriors Worldwide. He's bought land in many parts of the world and said they were then like national parks, protected sanctuaries. He did a LOT for the environment.
