Oh, by the way everyone, a little insight: The old Neocodex ended on March 2nd, 2004, because of an attack we experienced that consumed the site's bandwidth for the month (which rendered it useless for a whole month which is why we switched hosts). The attack signified the beginnings of a long conflict we had with a certain site.

I also want to bring a special quote to your attention. It was a large part of my inspiration in my earlier years with this site. tongue.gif

Yet here we stand, almost three years later.

Once again, its all because of the bitch. She screwed us over. I still miss a ton of the members from there, like Michael, Ryan, mtg, and so many others.

PP66 is origionally from Codex?? Wow, I never would have guessed that.

What happened to RDD? I see him around in other places once in a while, and he seems like he knew/knows his stuff. Why did he leave/get banned from Codex?

Yep, power_pack66 was originally a member of Neocodex before he went to NRealm, and later 3volution(ize).

Raredaredevil got banned for leaking administrator information (namely the NID logs.. it's all over the site (this site) if you don't know about it).

And Krnsaber, we never owned neocodex.com... ever. It was ncodex.com. tongue.gif

Edit: lol. I've had this tab open for a while, I guess SL got it before me tongue.gif

Hmph. I know Hydro explained the Crack situation, but this is how it went:
Crack became a well and trustworthy member of NeoCodex... he asked me to help him run another site (NRealm) which I said "Sure".

I made an account, he gave me admin, and I set up some forums and whatnot, about 2 days later I realised some of Codex's private programs were in the staff section, AND he was planning to post them public.

I informed Hydro casually on MSN, : "ogm!!! omg hydro!!!1 you there?!? ???? crack has private codex prgos on his stie!"
I don't have a clue if he knew what I was talking about but that happened.

I confronted Crack and asked him what the deal was, he simply replied, "Codex is getting what they deserve"
I demoted him, demoted myself and left the site.

NRealm is the reason that 3volutionize is still here today, they merged.
If they didn't merge, elz would of given up on his website. =)

Crack must of restored the site from backups and such, because a few days later, he made an 'excuse' for my permanent absence, and Codex's programs where in his public section.

I think it was then Hydrogen noticed when he was browsing the site casually and they then banned him from codex.

    On another topic:
    Codex.
Do you see how members change now?
How I was so annoying and immatrue?
    Now I'm just annoying.
Give people a chance to change, especially you private app voters.

Ha. Some of the members I call 'old' members weren't even around at that site. Jesus, codex has been around forever, hasn't it?

    ... Makes you think.

    Hello everyone,

There was once a time when Neocodex was hosted on a free server and was only 150 members big. When Neocodex.us was launched, we began fresh on our new paid servers and decided to archive the old Neocodex on those same free servers that we had used for the first three months of the board's lifetime.

These archives were previously accessable by going here: http://s91155572.onlinehome.us/forum/

Recently, Hydrogen and I were talking and we decided that we should centralize the hosting of the archive on our main server in case the free server were to fail (so we do not lose any of our past).

The result is what you see here. We have reuploaded all of the old files/content and placed in here for archiving purposes.

So.... if you haven't checked out what we looked like 2.5 years ago, now is the time to go. tongue.gif

Enjoy. tongue.gif (everything is viewable as a guest)

Wow, it's awesome to see how Codex and it's oldest members have grown so much. I've spent quite a bit browsing around reading all the old topics. One of the funniest being MorningStar's (XBullet, I think) response to making Private. biggrin.gif

Oh, how you've matured, Mr. Stephen!

Any way to open search feature to guests? That would be dandy. tongue.gif

Who was ? I see he was a Moderator, did he continue onto the new Codex?

I'll take on this one to clear up. was a very devoted member of Codex for about 5 months if I remember right and he had a arguement or something with another member of high stature and got his panties in a wad. So he and I (yes I was stupid then) broke apart from Codex (Me only for about a month and I was still on Codex) and started a website called NRealms (powerpack_66 also came over and was made admin). changed his name to Maget when we started the site and he really made NRealms a great site. I came back to Codex full time after Maget seemed to get power hungry and the like, so him and power_pack took it full stride. NRealms got very big...at the time almost the size of Codex, if not the same or bigger. It was a very successful site with a crap load of members but soon the creation of 3volutionz came along and sooner or later NRealms merged I believe. Maget changed his name to Gagan and power_pack became admin as well. A good while went by and sooner or later power_pack took over 3vo and here we are today. PP66 is still running 3vo as well as 3voize and doing good for himself....ahhh the memories. rolleyes.gif
