I just went and ran a mile, and lifted some weights.
Yeah, I couldn't do that anyways, o,o not eating is hard for me.

Well done on the willpower. smile.gif If you make something like that routine, then you'll be on your way very quickly. tongue.gif

1we8.gif If your trying to cut some fat do some High intensity interval training. Its 10x better than just jogging forever 1we8.gif It will help you, a lot.

And I give you two weeks to drop this plan 1we8.gif

What do you take Ryan? Aderall? Most any amphetamine will help you lose weight since they are basically diet pills.

Don't be so worried about BMI, Travis. It doesn't take into account muscle AT ALL. And I'm glad you are eating more healthy however you must consider also fat in things. Your choice of clam chowder was much better than brownies however clam chowder is a cream soup and therefore has a lot of fat. I would reccomend things like vegetable beef or chicken noodle next time as it has a clear broth. Also good idea with the salsa as it is an excellent way to add flavor AND it's very low calorie smile.gif Now pasta can be a good thing as well however too much can also hurt you. Use sparingly but do not ever cut out carbs. Also make sure on your salad dressings you try to use oil dressings and not cream dressings. But you're definately off to a good start! Healthy food can taste good as well, you just have to know which spices to add in as well.

A nice snack is making plain popcorn with no butter and putting cajin spices or any other type of spice you want sprinkled and mixed in with it smile.gif Popcorn itself is low calorie but once you add butter it becomes bad for you. I wish you luck!

I am a fat kid and always will be. I could probably go a few days without eating, but the fact that I eventually get used to not eating scares me so I force myself to eat.

People who stay skinny and play sports, but they eat really unhealthy don't notice that does not affect the prevention of your arteries clogging, and your heart clogging up to.

truesay. There was a case of a "perfectly healthy" 35 year old who got a heart attack because he ate junk food but still had a good enough metabolism that he looked skinny :\ Fat and cholersterol is sill bad no matter who you are :\

i know a kid who is 16 years old, and he has high cholesterol. he didn't find out until he was 15, (unfortunately for him, he inherited it) so now he's totally revamped his eating habits.

being overweight can also do damage to your joints, not to mention limited mobility...it's not a good thing.

hawk - why would you say that?

    Im pretty chubby..

    Im 5'1 - 5'3
    13 years old
    Weight: 60 Kilograms

But I'm planning to buy weights next weekend and build up my muscles.
    And work out abit.
Only light weights that is, I dont wanna start off heavy.
(And there only ones for your arms, not a whole bench and everything.)

Why don't you start by doing push up and tricep workout with a chair? Those are more benefecial and you have a lesser chance of getting hurt with unproper weight lifting techniques.

    A dumbbell set?

Travis, I was kidding 1we8.gif Ive just seen to many people start on these health crazes and it normally doesnt last 1we8.gif

But Im serious about the HIIT. It will boost your metabolism much more than regular jogging or walking.

i'm pretty sure travis isn't just looking for QUICK RESULTS, he's looking to change himself as a person.

HIIT provides quick results, but it's not always healthy, and what if he does a HIIT for a few weeks..and then goes back to eating junk food? it's best to diet&exercise in a moderate amount.

Good on you, Trav! Keep going. smile.gif

Not being able to put on weight easily pisses me off. Not to mention ramadan has made me lose a lot too. I have very little body fat (9%) and I want to bulk up a bit on it.
