Well, just got GIMP just for the fact that it has a pen tool as opposed to the crappy Photoshop Elements 2.0 I have and to practice my first real time with a pen tool I had fun drawing my maplestory character. She's a lowly level 32, but hey, why not? Yes, it needs cleaning up and the wand especially sucks but I promise you in the color version it'll look much better Plus it'll be all fixed and such. GIMP is a bit hard to work with at times with the layout so I really, really don't like it. Coloring in Photoshop FTW!

No offence but the line art seems to be a little bumpy? and there are places where it hasnt been finished, hopefully it will look alot cleaner in the finished version, but for your first try with gimp its very good

I agree with Calum. There are some areas where it looks like you may have misjudged it a little bit, and some places where lines overlap (IE. Down by her shoe), but it's a very good piece.

Aye, I know it's bad but as Balmung said in another topic which Hoju unfortunately disagreed with... you always need to clean up the lineart later. People are human and it's hard to judge from a sketch where exactly to put the line so you need to clean it up later It's mostly because I have to zoom to 500% to actually do it.

And yes, I'm around 30 If you're a mage, you can definately name them all xD
