At first, I m saving money to buy pb
but then now I am confused
should I spend it for pb first or lab map first?

i vote lab map. it can also train ur pet as well as paint it and change its speices/ gender

Personally, lab map. It does much more than just change your pet's color, and if your pet gets painted, it's free. Sure, you may not get to choose the color, but I'd much prefer a strong pet over a pretty pet.
If you're about glamour, go for the paintbrush. Just don't plan on getting and using the lab ray later on unless you're looking forward to have wasted NP on the paintbrush.

Depends entirely on what you'd prefer. Lab Map is entirely random, so it won't always give you what you want, in fact half the time it's results might not be anything you're even bothered about. However the other half you could get cool colours or good stat changes or whatever. But if you're someone that has your pets planned out to colour and you don't want to be changing, then definately stick to a pb. If it's what you want it's not a waste like someone else said. I for one know exactly what colour and species all my pets are going to be when I'm done with them, and I wouldn't want them to change, so labmap isn't for me .

if ur an acer u would be better with a lab map but if u want ur pet to be certain colour to look cool/tough to be a n00binator u should go pb

If you want your pet a specific color then stick with the paint brush. If you don't care what species/gender/color your pet is then go with the lab ray, the ray is completely random.

from my experience the lab wasn't a very reliable way to train the pet.

It isn't but combined with training defence/hp/level your pet gains stats fairly evenly at pretty fast

agree. and together with codestones you could get a real strong pet in couple of months time, assuming you have codestones to keep on training and lab rays ur pet every day. Who knows, you might get the species/colour of the pet you want by lab rays, although there is only a slim chance.

Therefore i would strongly recommend lab maps.

You can't get a coconut jubjub or robot/snot/alien pets by saving up for paintbrushes.

Lab....Lab can give you colors that paintbrushes can't...

There are a number of factors you need to consider. Is this new pet of yours you are going to paint gonna be labbed when you get the lab map? If so, get the lab map first, and skip the PB as it would probally change coulors or species lol. But, if you want to make the pet to show off and dont lab it, by all means, GET THE PB FIRST. If you want to have a strong pet fast, or have a chance at more rare coulors, get the lab ray first

Definitely Lab Map. You can get a wide arrangement of colors from it (as stated by other posters)

If you want your pet to be royal or something then i recommend buyying it.

Lab, your pet can be changed into a vriety of colours, spieces, etc also you get trained up also:)

lab map =P even if you don't get what you want you can get krawks, draiks, and cys,poogles, anithing that is good =P
Some ppl get their pets on desert pets or faeire, really, is random, but you'll waste less money, so one day you'll get the color you want lol, and also you pet can get very good
Also with time you can get the paintbrush you want to, but before I council the map, you'll can use the petpet lab map than, and can get like tirannyan galiom's or can get just a thing(sorry, forgot the word, im not american x.x i learn english alone =P listening english music, on neopets, games or else) that is black with 2 eyes =P but it gives you the avatar XD so, go and run for that map!
