Be active/helpful in the forums and once your account is 2 months old and you have a PPD of at least 2 you make an application. Then other Privates+ decide if they want you to be private and vote. If you get more Yes votes then No votes you make Private

I think this is going to be done anyway I think what's happening is the trading post might be moved to advanced members sometime in the near future - depending on how much more work Noit takes on...and believe me I know at least some of what he's been trying to do and the list is huge

Ya, those sites are bullshit sites aimed at newbies with deep pockets . Even $10/mil is overpriced unless it's legit. $8.50 seems about right

If yes's and no's are equal, what we usually determan on is a revote.

Sometimes we might reject the application because it is on a % of yes and no basis.
