u should check the table of contents for the internet programming part...most probably there is a way to program on the internet and u can use it for a neopets programI have a book(Sams Teach yourself Beginning Programing Second Edition in 24 Hours) which comes with Liberty Basic and I think a java application. and it seems super basic compared to Visual Basic and doesnt have a thing like Visual Studio so I was wandering if it is possible to use it. I'm not quite done with teh book so maybe theres sumthin in it that would tell me I could ( I dont mean sumthing like a chapter on Neopets programs) like interacting with the web or sumthin.

I have a book called Visual Basic Complete . Books usually contains crap about the IDE of VB and how to put the controls , about properties , methods and blah blah blah and also about object programming. Mine only tackles about the WebBrowser crap and didn't even include WinSock and Inet

OMG lol I am completly confused(b4 I was semi-confused) I have no idea what winsock or inet is and I dont even think this book goes into it. Tho it comes with Java stuff so cant u use java for online stuff? I duno I'm new to this I only no how to use DM which is kinda like C++ but alot more basic and I'm not even that good at it yet.
