This is the first conversation I ever had with Digital (the founder of digibliss). The conversation took place on February 28, 2004. It is quite a long conversation so you dong have to read it in one go.

ryan currie says
hello
Hydrogen says
hi
Hydrogen says
who is this?
ryan currie says
I am the infamous Digital, founder of digibliss
Hydrogen says
hello
Hydrogen says
nice to meet you
ryan currie says
I have noticed something that deeply disturbs me,..
Hydrogen says
whats that?
ryan currie says
some programs
Hydrogen says
on our site?
ryan currie says
yes, that should not be
Hydrogen says
well...we have given you credit for writing them
Hydrogen says
and if we have not in a post, then please tell me which
Hydrogen says
and I will correct them
ryan currie says
that is not the point
Hydrogen says
we take no responsibility for writing those programs
ryan currie says
you should not have them posted.. as you do not have permission from digibliss to do so
Hydrogen says
I see...
Hydrogen says
well, is there any way we could come to a compromise about this?
Hydrogen says
I would really like to work with digibliss on projects and such
Hydrogen says
I dont mean to be rash but I dont like relationships like you and nhacks currently have
ryan currie says
about the programs, I doubt it, I am the acting agent on the programmer..
ryan currie says
NH and I have no relationshop
Hydrogen says
I meant your board
ryan currie says
relationship, we are at each others throats at the moment
Hydrogen says
yes...I know
ryan currie says
but that is a legal matter that is being investigated
Hydrogen says
and I dont want that to be the case with neocodex and digibliss
Hydrogen says
ok...well, ill see to those programs being removed from our site
ryan currie says
well.. I am hoping you will be more sensible then NH
ryan currie says
thank you
ryan currie says
I would also make it known that you members are welcome on digibliss, but they cannot post advertisements.. as we have had problems
Hydrogen says
yes thats fine...and same to your members
ryan currie says
fair enough
Hydrogen says
I actually wanted to know if your programmers would be interested in doing a joint programming project?
Hydrogen says
in the near future...
ryan currie says
although I doubt you have had problems with my members..
ryan currie says
it would have to be disbecausesed, the odds are sli'm
Hydrogen says
yes, I have not .... as of yet
Hydrogen says
I see...
ryan currie says
as we have the only completely working programs
Hydrogen says
hmm, well, I guess you have not checked out our private section yet
Hydrogen says
I wouldnt say only working programs
Hydrogen says
anyways....what members have given you trouble at your board
Hydrogen says
ill be sure to talk to them about it
ryan currie says
Currently, someone who signed up with the user jomomma
ryan currie says
and others that I will have to look up
Hydrogen says
ok thank you
Hydrogen says
ill be sure to talk to hi'm about it...
ryan currie says
appriciate it
Hydrogen says
and I appreciate the fact that this meeting was conducted in a very proffessional manner
Hydrogen says
I commend you for that
ryan currie says
I only know one way to handle business
ryan currie says
unfortunatly, NH does not care for professionalism, that is why they are under investigation by the FBI at the moment
Hydrogen says
yes, I heard about the hack attempt
Hydrogen says
I'm not from nhacks....but I still do not like them
ryan currie says
I started out as a member.. now I am banned
Hydrogen says
yes, I heard that is how digibliss started
Hydrogen says
when you and neo_grl were banned from nhacks
ryan currie says
indeed, as a place to work on programs without the politics of NH's corruption
ryan currie says
started before we were banned
Hydrogen says
ah, I see...
Hydrogen says
how long has your board been around?
ryan currie says
in total ti'me, since December of last year, we recently lost our data due to a database failure, however we have been around three months
ryan currie says
we have done what NH could not do in less ti'me then they have tried.. however that is neither here or there
Hydrogen says
oh...what couldnt they do? I'm sorry, I was never a part of nhacks
ryan currie says
Keep members and programmers in peace
ryan currie says
They can't keep a programmer for more then a couple of months, they lose them when the programmer becomes part of their private members... and no public programs are created
Hydrogen says
ah, doesnt seem like a very good system to me
Hydrogen says
I have heard that your forum allows public access to all programs?
Hydrogen says
is that true?
ryan currie says
yes, with some restrictions placed to stop I'mmediate abuse
ryan currie says
the only closed part of the site is the for our programmers, as we hold the only public OCR's for both login and r90+ item codes
Hydrogen says
ah ... very good, you have bypassed the login system that neopets has recently added
ryan currie says
yes, and the new AB system.. as I said, we have accomplished a lot in a short period
ryan currie says
due to our programmers of course
Hydrogen says
well done
Hydrogen says
you seem to be formidable competition
Hydrogen says
a little friendly competition is a great thing to have
ryan currie says
I assure you, I am
ryan currie says
although I mean this in a professional matter, I would have doubts that NeoCodex could compete with digibliss on the scale of knowledge..
ryan currie says
although I would give you the urge to keep working
Hydrogen says
I see, well then, I guess we will see you in the arena
ryan currie says
haha
Hydrogen says
well then, I have one question to ask you...
Hydrogen says
why do you believe that neocodex can not keep up with your forum?
ryan currie says
As I look over your forums, I see no real form of navigation, or control, I see too much freedom, note that I like freedom, that is why I started digibliss, however, I realize that to grow, you have to control it.. otherwise you will end up like NH, which is overwhelmed by spammers, scammers, and flamers
ryan currie says
I noticed your members hold a lot of hatred, toward neo_grl, who is my second in command, this is not how you should let people react, as it will grow, and get you in trouble later on
Hydrogen says
yes, I have been notified of that situation...
Hydrogen says
although understand...my members do have some history with neo_grl
ryan currie says
I see posts of a semi-illegal manner, talk of hacking programs or using a brute force program shows the lack of rules, or structure, and I do not mean to be rude, or mean, just mentioning what I see.
ryan currie says
the history they have with her, they have also had with me
Hydrogen says
no no, I thank you for your input
ryan currie says
they hold her responsible for actions that I did,..
Hydrogen says
well then, I will correct that situation
ryan currie says
Rogue's site was shut down by me, for allowing small DoS attacks to be placed against digibliss
Hydrogen says
I see, I will speak with rogue about that
ryan currie says
yes, that would be wise
Hydrogen says
but on the case of hacking on the board...
Hydrogen says
it is the members' opinion
ryan currie says
and it is illegal...
ryan currie says
If it is discovered, you will be held responsible, not them
Hydrogen says
yes I know
Hydrogen says
thank you for bringing that to my attention
Hydrogen says
I will remove it right now
Hydrogen says
along with your programs...
ryan currie says
It would be wise
ryan currie says
and I thank you for being reasonable
Hydrogen says
thats no problem, you said it yourself, "I only know one way to do business"
Hydrogen says
by the way, how did you find my msn address?
ryan currie says
it is in your profile
Hydrogen says
so you joined our forums?
ryan currie says
yes, although I do not plan to be active
Hydrogen says
I see...
ryan currie says
I had recieved a report that our programs were leaked, so I investigated
Hydrogen says
ok...thanks, I will get one of my moderators to remove them
ryan currie says
ok
Hydrogen says
by the way, could you give me a list of programs that are yours?
Hydrogen says
so that I may remove all of them
Hydrogen says
and not miss any
ryan currie says
hold on, let me look
Hydrogen says
ok
ryan currie says
PetPet Battles
ryan currie says
Auction Hacker
ryan currie says
usautobuyer 2
ryan currie says
or your working one
Hydrogen says
is that all?
ryan currie says
I am looking still
Hydrogen says
ok
ryan currie says
I have several chats open
Hydrogen says
ok
ryan currie says
I believe that is all
Hydrogen says
ok
Hydrogen says
they will be removed
ryan currie says
thanks
Hydrogen says
no problem

This was posted on the original neocodex. While we posted it, Digital did not do so on his site. He did not even inform his members that he had contacted me. He did not ask them whether a joint programming project would be something they would want, but instead made a decision on his own. Something that was against their rules at the ti'me (that they would make decisions together and not have chaos in their staff like NH did, as they said).

I think it is pretty clear that Neocodex spoke with digibliss nicely and welcomed them with open arms, but it is digibliss that hostilized the situation between the two sites. I personally believe that Digital saw us as a threat to the well being of his website, which is why he was so hell bent on having us shut down, no matter the cost. He failed.

Its actually pretty funny because in a conversation that I did not log, Digital told me that Neocodex had come to an end (he was going to report us for a trojan that neo_grl had found on our site). Well, I'd like to inform Mr. Digital that we are still well and running. He also told me that Neocodex would die before digibliss did. Please go to www.digibliss.net and see if digibliss is still up
