Lately the site's been getting quite a few of those "server is currently busy" errors and I know it's bothering a lot of you (as it's bothering me as well tongue.gif). I've raised the issue with the host because I'm fairly confident that it's not our site usage causing these high server loads. They've informed me that a few users on our server have cron jobs executing too fast, but it seems that the issue's been reoccurring after the adjustments have been made.

At any rate, this is to let you know that the issue is being looked into and that the current server load limit on the forum is set slightly higher than normal in the meantime. It seems that it's only been doing this majorly in the last few days.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Yeah, it was frustrating trying to post a few times. It came up so many times that I would just leave for 5 minutes and come back.

Hopefully it gets settled soon. Thanks for the update happy.gif.

Don't you think it is a little weird to be getting that error when the boards are offline? Something is seriously wrong when only staff is on, but the boards still go down.

I love it when people apologize for something that isn't their fault. tongue.gif
No worries SL, just take your time!

Made a drinking game out of it and drank a shot of tequila everytime I was browsing Codex and it came up.

Hoorah for home bar.

It usually appears in annoying bursts then goes away for a while, and comes back right after you've typed a really long post. dry.gif

Yes, but it's annoying to keep trying to send it through after fifty failed attempts.

The host replied and said that they'll do their best to control the server load, so hopefully it gets back to normal. tongue.gif

So it was a problem with the host? unsure.gif I thought it was that Codex was getting too much traffic. tongue.gif
