Warning: CGs are on the loose

While you should never not be on guard, there's been a rash of CGs going around on Neopets lately - I've heard about some in shops, but I know that there's been a few non-Neopets websites advertised on the Neoboards that linked to CGs...so, be careful! =P I'm sure many of you don't play enough, or at least, don't go on the Neoboards or visit strange links neomailed to you, but apparently the links have been disguised as fansites or avatar/BD guides. I'm sure some of you won't have known about this, since it's been a while since CGs have been running rampant like now. =P

Remember, disabling Javascript and/or clearing your cookies before visiting links should take care of the problem. If you're worried about getting them in shops, I believe you can do most things in the game with Javascript disabled.

    Yeah, saw a warning on another site, but they seem to be so common these days, I couldn't be bothered making a topic.

    maybe infamous is playing neopets again? for awhile he was the only one to be able to use em after internet explorer updated with that service pack a few years ago.

    o.o use the neopets bar to, is a good way to secure, they can block cookies and pop ups from sites =D

    *don't uses neopets programs* Well, use it and disable when using programs ;-D NEVER FORGOT TO DISABLE IT WHEN GOING TO LAUNCH PROGRAMS OR YOU ACC WILL PROBLABLY FROZEN

    Yeah I know who's doing it. Don't go to any random GeoCities link. Also, DarkCircuit has them planted on NeoPets, best way to be safe is to just disable javascript. Good luck smile.gif

    infamous wrote it, then the admin of neopoints.ca got it somehow and sold it to dc im pretty sure. Infamous was trying to get me to make the admin guy go to a url so he could screw him over but it didnt work.

    as infamous IS involved, hes not the brains behind the CGing wink.gif Hes more of an inside man... Darkcircuit is doing all the work.

    As far as I know, neither Kaos nor Infamous recieved more than a legal letter. Kaos for sure didn't because I talked to him, but he's quit neo now.
