And no, I'm not an idiot, I've been to the cemetaries, I've been to Auschwitz, Schindlers factory and a few musems. You'd be a total moron to deny the existence.
I'm interested to see what you'll come up with. Besides Schindler, I can't think of a single one that did good. I know they're all really smart men; all the one's that were captured and tried at Nuremberg, with the exception of Julius Streicher, had an IQ over 110, and many had an IQ over 130, with two even reaching genius status with IQs of 141 and 143 (Seyss-Inquart and Schacht, respectively). They're not stupid men, which only makes it worse that they committed all those crimes willingly. The only one found not guilty by those courts was the smartest, Schacht.
And its not that Gibson denies it happened (or at least, I haven't heard that). He just denies that any significant amount of Jews were killed.

I'll show you some of the things the Nazi's did that was great which cannot be denied.
In the summer of 1935 Adolf Hitler announced the introduction of Labour Service (RAD). Under this measure all men aged between the ages of nineteen and twenty-five had work for the government for six months. Later women were also included in the scheme and they did work such as teaching and domestic service. One of the consequences of RAD was a reduction in the number of people in Germany who were unemployed.
One of the most important changes made by Bernhard Rust was the establishment of élite schools called Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalten (Napolas). Selection for entry included racial origins, physical fitness and membership of the Hitler Youth. These schools, run by the Schutzstaffel (SS), had the task of training the next generation of high-ranking people in the Nazi Party and the German Army.
After leaving school at the age of eighteen students joined the German Labour Service where they worked for the government for six months. Some young people then went on to university.
As you can see, Hitler did wonders for education with Rust underneath him creating a new cirriculum which would keep heatlh levels up and generally increasing the middle class and lowering ther working class so that many more people would go to uni and get better jobs.
Once girls reached the age of they could join the Jungmädel. At 14 they entered the Bund Deutscher Mädel. (German Girls' League). This included a year of farm or domestic service. They were trained by female guardians and their overall leader was Gertrud Scholtz-Klink.
Again the Nazi's were increasing loyality and health within the German population, this idea wouldn't go down so well in our lazy, unworking sloth kind in the West. Maybe we should create a system like it? Cut obesity levels down a tad?
Ley ordered the building of two new cruise-liners that were used to take German workers on foreign holidays. In 1938 an estimated 180,000 people went on cruises to places such as Maderia and the Norweigian fjords. Others were given free holidays in Germany.
The Strength through Joy programme also built sports facilities, paid for theatre visits and financially supported travelling cabaret groups. It also subsidized the development of the People's Car, the Volkswagen.
Although the German worker paid for these benefits through compulsory deductions, the image of people being given holidays and subsidized entertainment was of great propaganda value to the Nazi government.
Is there anything that bad about rewarding the hard working folks of your country for doing so well? Maybe if this scheme was implied in the UK or US, then people work a little harder and people would get their rewards for their hard work.
I could go on further and further about how inflation was kept at a steady level by the Nazi's so they wern't in over their head with taxes and reperations. Or I could say how that major factors of Germany were gradually repaired after the great war thanks to Germany. Art, Litretaure, academics, physical health, economy, public and international relations were improved, imports and exports would be then exchanged with Germany, help paying for some of your American goods.
All I'm saying is, don't let something as stupid as concentration camps (a British invention in the Boer war) get in the way of something so great.
If Hitler was alive today, and devised a cure that saved 6,000,001 people, would people look to him as a hero or as still the most evil man in history? I'm guessing the latter. Well that's propoganda for you, and not the Nazi type either.

I'll show you some of the things the Nazi's did that was great which cannot be denied.
Many people who were unemployed had the chance to get jobs now, even though they weren't paid high, everyone had a job, a figure of 1.3 million were unemployed in 1993, the year Hitler become chancellor. By 1939, Germany were declaring a shortage of workers. Workers who built dams, roads, planted trees, dug ditches and so forth, benefiting the economy and giving over a million people jobs for the future.
Much like the New Deal instituted by FDR. Public employment by the government can do wonders for an economy. What you don't talk about is how they later used captured slave labor in place of poor Germans. No, I'm not just talking about criminals and POWs, I'm talking about honest Jews, Roma, and other minorities that had done nothing wrong, didn't even live in Germany, but were suddenly press-ganged into service in factories, work crews, and other forms of labor with no compensation.
Right, but he didn't. He still was responsible for the deaths of 6 million plus people. End of.

Okay, hold up now. First of all, if you want to talk about unsourced facts, you didn't name a single source, so please, don't be a hypocrite. What you quoted(in the quotes) were facts. What you said were not facts, but opinions, so again don't be a hypocrite. You wouldn't have cared if I had stated my opinion and it had agreed with you. No, you only care because it is contradictory to yours, and makes you look like a fascist. Sorry, but most of what you quoted as 'good' acts by the Nazis was rife with prejudice, political indoctrination at a young age, slavery, and genocide. I don't care how much the economy of Germany improved. If it was done with slave labor, it wasn't right.

I hope he fries. He has been employed all these years and knows full well that his job includes serving in war if he is ever called upon, rather he thinks the cause is justified or not.
QFE yet again. Frizzle & Marine are right. This officer knew what he was doing when he chose to be part of the United States Army. Concientious objection only works in a draft - that's why all those pathetic hippies were able to avoid the Vietnam War instead of showing support for their country.
In my opinion, he should be removed from the US since he obviously doesn't like it very much.

in some ways i agree, but saying he doesnt like the US just because he doesnt want to fight is a bit harsh dont you think.
I would like to see you go out and fight, or dont you like the US

If there's a draft I will gladly go fight. For now, I am too young and I did not sign up for the job he did. This man is a disgrace to the United States Army.

*sigh* Did you even read the article? He a patriot, and is glad to serve in any legitimate war. He's not trying to be a conscientious objector, he is simply saying that he will not participate in an illegal war. And, like I said, he was more than willing to fight in Afghanistan, but they wouldn't let him. IMO, afghanistan was probably more violent than Iraq when he volunteered to go. Probably still is.

Also Redlion if you wanted my source, I decided to get an unbiast one which is acutally approved by teachers around my country at least.

All you did was use made up trivial "facts" that are always used about the Nazi's used to put them in bad light, but of course have no proof behind them. Like catching babys on bayonets and so forth.
The Nazi's were preparing for a war remember, so they had to build up the youth somehow otherwise there would be no point in half of the things they did and would of lost.
Propoganda? Where does an American get the right to put down propoganda? Find me one fucking country in the world where it hasn't used propoganda?
You again completely missed my points and come back with "slave" labour...which didn't happen on a large scale.
