You could probably live for a few weeks.

About two weeks before you die, but you'd be feeling absolutely aweful sooner then that. However fat doesn't come into it so much because whilst it can be used to give you energy it won't give you the essential nuitrients and that you need, so it doesn't depend on how fat you are like someone said. Not to my knowledge. I dropped Biology last year though and we didn't study how long it took to die, so I'm not exactly all knowing on the subject.

If you didn't eat a single thing, you'd drop about 15 lbs...you'd probably lose 7 the first 2 days, then as your metabolism went down, you'd lose the other 8 through 5 days. God, this reminds me so much of wrestling. Please tell me that's not why you're doing this.
BTW: you're better off maintaining your diet and just going for runs in sweat suits and stuff. When I was in wrestling, I would run off all my water weight and just eat chocolate and crap since it had a ton of fat (energy) in it...I wouldn't go back to that crap for anything.

Yes it does.
Eat at proper times, excersize more, drink more water and eat a salad with every meal. Not eating will do you more harm than good in the long run (health and weight-wise respectively).

Nah, just what you should do (I saw this on some tv show) if you aren't planning on eating at ALL is just have like one enery bar per day. This guy said on some show that he had 1/3 for breakfast, 1/3 for lunch, 1/3 for dinner and he felt okay...

If he's wrestling, like I assume he is to have to lose weight so fast...he needs to lose x amount of pounds by x day...drinking more water and eating anything might hurt him.

The best thing for you to do is not to just STOP eating...that's not good for your metabolism, as others have said. Rather,
you should just eat very little or next to nothing. If you continue to just eat a little bit every day, you will more than
likely drop some weight. You should also exercise if you have the free time because that helps to burn off the calories
you do eat. Also, drink plentiful amounts of water. Make sure the water is ICE cold because the body uses more energy
warming the water up to your internal temperature thus burning more calories. Another thing, I have found great use of
these drink mixes with the brand name "Morning Spark." They are FULL of caffeine, which I know isn't necessarily good
for you BUT... caffeine is a diuretic which means it basically makes you pee more which is good for losing weight.
Each serving of Morning Spark contains 160 - 180 mg of caffeine which is the equivalent of two cups of coffee or two eight ounce Red Bulls.
Of course, that can dehydrate you so drink plain water with it. It wakes you up to and makes you want to do stuff.....burn those
cals! Haha...
I hope this helps!!!

He's not trying to lose weight in the longrun it sounds like...just for this week. I used to drop 5-15 lbs in a week all the time during wrestling by running with sweatsuits and not eating anything...I didn't gain much of it back because I made sure to lose fat and muscle, but gain back the muscle...If he starves now, his body will eat both fat and muscle that he has stored...If he proceeds to eat right after this, he'd only gain back muscle...
warming the water up to your internal temperature thus burning more calories.
Very cool you brought this up...something very few people know.

If you're looking at a week-long timeframe, there's obviously something important going on that you're willing to completely starve for...how do you get protein when you're doing a vegetarian diet? Personally, I'd see a meat-only diet as much more efficient.
