So I posted Kairi on Gaia (foogie inspired me to go back there. Forgot I even had an account) and some girl wanted me to do a couple commissions for her and so I figured I might as well. I didn't charge much, only 5000 gold but hey, it's my first >_>

No, it's not perfect. I know I had troubles making the hair look pretty because Gaia has such an icky shade of brown for their hair but oh well <img src="http://www.neocodex...._DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I tried.

The black spots are bad. The one without thick lines makes it blend too much. The first one you posted was the best.

That's hot, but the tail is not smooth enough (I can tell you use the polygonal lasso tool ).

She realized that the black spots were a good idea too and just had it with no background And then also made me change the ring color. Didn't look at it right and made it gold instead of black. Whoops >_>

haha, damn... that's one picky commish... XD

the black spots look bad, I actually like the first version best... everyone else critiques with their gfx knowledge, but I critique with my vast anime knowledge. XD the thick black outline is a common thing, but instead of smudging the rounded edges, add to it and erase the sides to make it pointy.

I've only done one commission for a gaia avatar... it was a dude... lesse... its a really old one too, so dun judge the bad quality. XD

Elemental water hair is one of the hardest to draw... I don' t know how I'm going to I'll try v_v

haha, i feel your pain... today someone contacted me as well for a commission, to do him and his girlfriend, he has the elemental water hair, and she has the viney flowery thing wrapped all over her body. XD

I told them to get rid of the complicated shit and we'd talk. XD

And if she wants them ALL chibi I will freaking scream. >_> I figured I'd rather sketch it and show her first before I ink it which will as you know... take me like another several hours xD

Oh well, it's a challenge, eh? And she wants me to do a couple picture too eventually. This better be worth it. Well... for this picture she is giving me elemental hair which is worth around 14k so it works out. It's just going to be a bitch to color, I swear.

with the watery hair shit, I'd say go with the less is more approach with coloring... XD makes it easier.

and just a quick little note, her right shoulder is a little larger than the other. that is all. *studies how you did the water shit to get ideas of how to do it*
