So, I've decided to start something fairly challenging.. I've been working on this for about 2 or three days... little bit by little bit... I've just finished the base colours and well I'd like to know what you think of it.. might not be much, but it's something.

Oh, and yeah.. I'm planning on vectoring it all and possibly making a background.

looks awesome so far!

some of the lines are a little shaky, but I have no clue what a vector is, or how you make them, so I don't know if you can make it straighter or not. XD

It's like: Link

I'm sure I could make the lines straighter and all, but I'm not aiming for perfectness, but more of a slightly cartoonish vector style. Plus I'm lazy.

Like I said above.. wanted to give it a really light cartoonish feel.. so I wouldn't want to have everything the same. Those aren't the final colours, but they're pretty close to the end product.

Pretty nice, since it's a work in progress I bet you'll be adding more details and stuff...so for now, it's coming along nicely smile.gif

Looks great. I kind of like it simplistic like this. Only thing I would do is change the color of the symbols to a slightly darker more coppery brown. Try bordering them and see how they look if you want to really capture that cartoony style.

I'll try that out, see how it looks. Thanks for the tips.

I want that drum set (either the photo-realisticor the vectorized one).
All you need now are some highlights to make your set shiny.
