Not sure if I agree.....but I just hope he'll be more careful in his life from now on. Unfortunatly this is the risk they take and if he continues to do this then next time he may not be so lucky and I wont feel sorry for him. If we were meant to fly we would have wings.

Being careful would be to say that he fell out of the plane by accident and he should have been careful, but he elected to fly 12,000 feet above the Earth and jump, and all for a thrill. If there really is a God and he has spared him his life, that's his way of telling him, "grow some fucking brains."

    I agree.

And the same thing can be said for ecstasy, because we all know of your use. "anyone who takes a pill made with god knows what and chemicals and shit deserves to die"

It's not, because I use a condom and so do most people. We are taking precautions trying to be safe, but there is no way to be safe jumping out of plane. Having sex is much safer than endangering your life for some cheap thrill that doesn't symbolize anything other than stupidity. Sex is supposed to symbolize love and passion, two of the greatest things in life.

If you are seeking tolerance for your views on sexuality, perhaps you should extend the hand of tolerance to others as well whose hobbies may be skydiving rather than dishing the hand of intolerance.

I say that skydiving can represent passion and love too. Passion for the airtime you get and the love of the adrenaline flowing through your body. smile.gif I actually want to try skydiving someday...I think they have some program near my house that has it or something...will have to do some research tongue.gif

It's not his fault both of his parachutes failed. I'm sure he didn't go with that knowledge, either.

My uncle usually goes Sky-diving once a year from around 35,000 feet. I guess after a while you get less scared. Miracle this guy survived.

In a CDC analysis of data from 25 states with longstanding HIV reporting -- not including Georgia, which tracks AIDS but not HIV cases -- researchers found rates had stabilized at about 16,000 new diagnoses each year. During the seven-year period from 1994 to 2000, 43 percent of diagnoses were among gay and bisexual men

Tally that in with the condom percentage and you've got a much lower chance of conceiving AIDs through anal sex with men. Also you also have to take into account the fact that if a condom breaks and semen is released and the donor has AIDs then the percent on conceiving AIDs is not 100%.

You're probably tons more likely to die in a car crash than while sky diving so there goes your whole theory Urban.
It's an incredible thing he survived. I would have aimed at the ocean, but with that velocity the surface tension would be just as bad as asphalt.

Same. I've made plans with four other friends (lol, discount with five people), and for $250 you get to go skydiving with an instructor strapped onto you. Reason for the instructor being there with you is for unless you have the proper training.
I don't want to have someone strapped onto me...i want to do tricks...and flips and things...

You didn't understand. Driving a car is a necessity of life. You need cars to get places, as well as other transportation. However, it is not necessary to needlessly put yourself at risk.

Okay, then from now on if you plan to oppose my theory that skydiving in an unnecessary and life-threatening risk, and if you think that cars are not necessary. Do not drive one and do not take public transportation. To say that vehicles are not necessary in life is just being plain ignorant. You are simply trying, and failing, to prove you're right.

Last time I checked, the Amish and Menanytes who choose not to drive or take any form of transportation more advanced than horse and buggy live just fine.

Then go be amish. Give up your computer, give up technology, go to church every day.
See how long you could survive.

Hahaha what does church have to do with a horse and buggy??
I certainly couldn't survive going to church every day. I can't survive going ONCE! Ah!

The fact that transporation is more necesary has nothing to do with anything. It's just as, or more dangerous. People die from many different things, just because someone wants to live their life to the fullest doesn't mean he's worse in any way than the person who takes no risks and one day wakes up with cancer.

Sky diving is safe anyway. Thousands and thousands of people have done it, and I'm sure very few die yearly.
