The spinning and brush definitely saved his live..truly amazing blink.gif

This spinning actually causes you to pick up speed.

Hmmm... quite amazing, really. I just simply don't see this possible. I bet that 3 years later we discover he is the equivalent of that guy in Unbreakable and then he goes and saves the planet from a meteor caused by the evil Mr. Glass.

    Heh bungee jumping happy.gif

I did that once. Strap it round your one ankle, take a deep breath and fall. Nothing I have ever done can ever compare to it... The feeling you get as your speed towards the earth, makes you not care about the possibility of dying smile.gif As the bungee stretched my head was just 3 feet away from a big pool of water, then you get sent back up, and down, well until the momentum stops basically. tongue.gif

Of course I did it abroad. One would never be allowed to do that under 18 in the u.k probably dry.gif

Its amazing he survived. The brush was thick though, so that helped.

Whoever said he would be traveling faster because of the spin- Do you mean downwards? Because of course he would be traveling faster, he is twirling and falling, thats traversing a much longer path even though you may be falling at the same rate.

Hawk, if you feel you have a problem with someone's post then you should direct it to a member of staff who will deal with it correctly and approripately.

Urban's entitled to his opinions just as much as yours (Even though I strongely disagree with it). There was no need to bring that up.

Tally that in with the condom percentage and you've got a much lower chance of conceiving AIDs through anal sex with men. Also you also have to take into account the fact that if a condom breaks and semen is released and the donor has AIDs then the percent on conceiving AIDs is not 100%.

Neither is dieing, obviously, from a chute failure.
    QUOTE(Urban @ Feb 14 2007, 01:10 AM) View Post
It's not, because I use a condom and so do most people. We are taking precautions trying to be safe, but there is no way to be safe jumping out of plane. Having sex is much safer than endangering your life for some cheap thrill that doesn't symbolize anything other than stupidity. Sex is supposed to symbolize love and passion, two of the greatest things in life.
    I haven't taken E in a long time.

So? Sex is some cheap thrill, and condoms can break, just like parachutes.

You didn't understand. Driving a car is a necessity of life. You need cars to get places, as well as other transportation. However, it is not necessary to needlessly put yourself at risk.

So? You can walk, or bike. Or jog. Just shut up, you're wrong. Give it up.

Frizzle, you're being a HUGE hipocrit (sp) You're the one who always used to flame people randomly xD

Okay, then from now on if you plan to oppose my theory that skydiving in an unnecessary and life-threatening risk, and if you think that cars are not necessary. Do not drive one and do not take public transportation. To say that vehicles are not necessary in life is just being plain ignorant. You are simply trying, and failing, to prove you're right.

I plann to oppose your theory! I don't drive or take public transportaion what so ever even in winter I rather walk. Anyway that sky divers go through training and saftey aspects before getting on that plane and jumping. If it was really not that safe (that you are trying to point out) then it wouldn't be legal now would it.

"Someone who is stupid enough to jump out of a plane for fun deserves to die."

That is so mean, fine if that is the case think of someone you truly love decides do try it on time they deserve to die right! WRONG and you know it.

He states that's what he first thought of, but the impact would knock him unconscious, and he'd drown.

Yeesh, i would never go skydiving....too scary.

The my friends dad goes skydiving occasionally....A first time skydiver at the place he goes died not long ago, she was strapped into a fest with the instructor since it was her first time, but when the instructor pulled the chute she slipped out of the harness, and plumeted all the way down. unfortunatly she wasn't as lucky as this guy, thats just freaking amazing.

"Someone who is stupid enough to jump out of a plane for fun deserves to die."

even though i would never sky dive, i don't agree with that. People get their kicks their own ways, and its not fair to say something like that...if they die, sure, its their own fault, but i hope they don't, cause people dieing is never good.

If all he gets is a verbal warning...

Someone who is stupid enough to be gay deserves to die from AIDS.

If I get warned or my post becomes invisible there is an obvious set of double standards. Whatever, I cannot do anything to change that, as double standards run way to deep here at Codex.

Urban -Seriously- We didn't go into your topic about your best friend being diagnosed HIV+ and say "Serves him right for being gay". Its shit like this which makes me mad. I've tried being nice to you, but you keep pulling this shit. How do you know we do not have an avid skydiver here at Codex? It is completely possible you know. That person might feel like shit right now because of YOUR posts.

[sarcasm]I guess it is completely okay for YOU to put someone down, but when someone else puts YOU down its suddenly "OMG YOU HATE ME CUZ IM GAY" and clearly it is not your fault. [/sarcasm] Want to know what makes it worse? You repeat your mistakes. Every time you come back you pull some stupid stunt like this. When you are ready to grow up and learn when it is acceptable to open your mouth and when it is not I may consider being "Nice" to you. I may even consider becoming you friend, but until then you have no respect from me. Not like you have done anything to earn it anyways. Instead you manage to find ways onto my shit list.

Don't even try to say I've always been mean to you. I tried to stick up for you before, but you completely blew me off. I've tried to protect you in past situations, but you just wouldn't accept help. You keep causing problems, and that needs to stop. You have done quite a bit of other stuff I do not view favorably. You are going to have to make some major changes pretty quick if you ever want my respect back.

Hopefully you learned something from that post. If you ever want me to talk over some things with you feel free to PM me, I will be happy to do so. I just do not want to see your normal attitude if you PM me. I've been storing this up for quite a while, hope it isn't a major shock to anyone.

    Have a nice night everyone.

No, if it was a PM he would have replied "Fuck you" and probably wouldn't have read it. That happened last time I tried to send him advice 1we8.gif

Edit: The gays dieing was sarcasm. While I don't agree with their decisions I can tolerate them, especially non flamboyant ones.

I suppose, although one time I got lost in the middle of a forest in Yosemite National Park and it was like 2 AM. Luckily I found a cop around (after running into a bear) and he took me back to his little police station.

He told me of a story of when a women was sky diving there for a demonstration, the equipment she was using was different from what she usually used and the parachute thing was on a different side than hers. So out of instinct she tried to pull the parachute where it usually is, it didn't obviously open since it was on the other side. Yeah....she landed on rocks and sort of splattered...

    I don't want to go SkyDiving tongue.gif
