I think in life we have all seen our fair share of mean spirited people but have you ever seen somebody truly and fundamentally evil?

Are people born good and at some point in time made cruel by experience or are some just born to be wicked?

Personally I think it is a experience thing. If a child grows up with nothing but a mean family, mean friends, mean neighborhood, i personally think that they might end up just plain mean too.

But there are special cases too. Sometimes out of the meanest houses can come the sweetest people...

I really can go on about this but I'll be ranting by then tongue.gif

There's no such thing as someone truly and fundamentally evil...
The crazy bastards always have some justification, even if it is twisted.

Yea I do believe people are born good. They become "evil" when they are affected by all of the corruptions of the world. That's what I believe anyway tongue.gif.

Certain people eliminate all sense of morality and guilt from themselves. This is how serial killers are born.

I think everyone is born good but they are changed by their upbringing. This would include, parents, other relatives, friends, school, enviorment and such.

Uhh, well, how exactly is everyone defining good?

Sorry let me be more specific. For instance, Christian Fundamentalists would define abortion as evil whereas some of us might not, so how do we define good?

    Good is a gray area.
    Leave it at that.
I'd have to say abortion isn't good tho...
    Pro-choice isn't justifiable.
Unless it was a rape victim, but that's something different all together.

Religion is the opium of society, it is also the cause of almost all current international conflicts.

Let's not turn this into a debate on religion as that's not what this topic is about tongue.gif. If you want to make a topic on that, then go for it since I have a response tongue.gif.

Idk about you guys, but the view of "An eye for an eye." Seems a bit brutish to me.
That's the only way murder is justifiable, so w/e...

Who's to determine if someone deserves to live or not?
Nobody should be allowed to make that decision, because no one is unbiased...
Sure there are a few people that would be unanimously hated on, but that's irrelevant. tongue.gif
