One thing I notice about this forum is that its sort of inactive and that it has some n00bs. One thing that I'm pretty sure will increase activeness is to have a set number of average posts per day.(maybe like 5 or 6) I see alot of people just post in the Introductions and then taper off into nothingness. Another thing that you guys could do is to have a waiting period so you can't just download anything when someone signs up. Well those are my suggestions so far I'll try to add some more later.

There used to be a set number of posts needed to download, all it did was encourage spamming.

As for a set number for posts per day, there is one needed to become a private member but for general things?
It wouldn't make sense because some people go inactive then come back later on, only to have an extremely low PPD because of their join date.

Of course the site is going to be inactive. It is the time of year where there is a large majority of exams going ahead, and people are choosing to revise for their subjects.

The activity will always pick up throughout the summer smile.gif

Yeah having a PPD thing would be stupid. I have over 1,000 posts, but due to a long break I took from stuff, I have a really low post per day count, so I couldnt even use basic programs.

We've had these suggestions before. They really don't help.

Oh well I understand then. I guess they just won't work.
