Yeah, so I was super bored, and I decided to see if my teacher had a myspace. When no results came up, I hit the button that I *thought* took me back to home -- but unfortunately, it turns out that it actually sent an invite to the email address I entered. Yeah, I'm a dumbass. So anyways, I sent her this e-mail. Think she'll buy it?

Ms. Steere!

Yeah, so what's up? About that myspace thing... I can totally explain. Okay, so:

Once upon a time there was this awesome kid named Dallas who had an equally, if not even cooler teacher by the name of Ms. Steere. (Her name is actually Mrs. Hodges now, but that's too many syllables -- plus, Ms. Steere just kind of rolls of the tongue.) Anyways, on this day Dallas did what he did most nights when there's nothing else to do. He went on MySpace! Unfortunately, that got old after 5 minutes, so he set out to find something to do. As you may know, when teenagers are bored, bad things usually happen.

So, since all of the good little 7th and 8th graders got their yearbooks that day, Dallas began paging through it and saw his favorite science teacher, Ms. Steere's stunning picture right away. Dallas was still on Myspace at this point, mind you -- so he began to get curious and wondered whether or not his favorite science teacher had a Myspace or not! He'd heard rumors that some other teachers had one, so he decided that there was only one way to find out.

Being the clever kid that our hero is, he looked up Ms. Steere's e-mail address and typed it into Myspace. Seeing no results come up, Dallas hit the button that was supposed to take him back with disappointment. That's when he saw that fateful message:

Invite Sent

Dallas stared at the message with disbelief. Could it be? Did he actually just send his teacher an invite to MYSPACE? He could feel his heart beating faster as the adrenaline began coursing through his system. He swore he could've felt a bead of sweat running down his brow. What was there to do? What could the repercussions be when his teacher opens her e-mail the next morning and sees something like this? Unimaginable!

So, Dallas did what his heart told him to do: fess up before it can possibly get worse. If there's one thing Dallas had learned from being a kid, it's that if you mess up, fess up. People always find out in the end. Plus, Dallas is a pretty uncommon name, so it's not like he could deny it or anything.

The ending of this story is still unwritten. Will Dallas be in big trouble, or could this shameless story actually work and will his beautiful, incredibly intelligent, and oh-so-wise science teacher forgive him in the end?

Tune in next time to see what happens!

Haha. Not like I could get in trouble for inviting a teacher to myspace anyways.

-shrugs- I thought it was pretty clever, personally. Plus, the GC's kinda going slow today. tongue.gif

Well if she's a kind of teacher that jokes around and stuff, she'll buy it. If she's not, she'll just hate you tongue.gif

When she asked about why you invited her you could've just said you wanted to be friends with her because you thought she was super cool. Haha.

You're going through too much trouble for that.. seriously, what's the teacher going to say? It's a myspace invite.. not a lifelong of gay porn spam.

    LOL ass kisser.

when I went to high school, the school's email firewall was so tight that few emails actually got through, so things like that myspace invite never would have reached the inbox. tongue.gif

Was that cheezy and epic letter neccesary? I am sure if she saw it she wouldnt even care.

Then again she may think you have a little crush on her but thats not too bad.

I would just pretend it never happened if it was me. shifty.gif
