.........

wow.

I sat here for like 8 minutes, and couldn't even think of something witty.

I seriously don't know about anything Canada has said no to... I'm totally distant from the whole politics thing.

...though I do know it's illegal to have a gun in Japan, and same in china.... in china (learned through conversation with the chinese guys I sit with in class) there's a lot of conflict and fighting, but since you can't have guns, people use swords, katakana type things, and physical strength (kung-fu shit).

Britain said No joining the ECC at first but then we joined it later which then transformed to the EU and we still say No to the Euro.

Can't think of anything else at this time.

It's lame.. I mean; it's just a game! No one is going to play it then go stalk people for real. A new Law and Order game's also been banned because there's a pic of a kid being taken from a shopping center in the background during one scene. I mean. honestly. It's all jumping on the 'games are bad' bandwagon after the issue with Resistance. Grr!

    /offtopic rant.

To be fair, if your kid was murdered in that kind of way would you really want that photo to be used in a game? unsure.gif

I agree on the other games though, it's like saying that people who play World of Warcraft will go around casting spells (or whatever they do on that game, I really have no idea) on people... tongue.gif

*sigh* again we have no way of knowing if Kerry or Gore could have been better or worse leaders but I am betting that they are the same. If you have anyone to blame I say blame the democrat party for not getting a good enough leader up there sad.gif I say people only chose Kerry because he has a motorcycle and rode it on stage once. He always creeped me out though just like Hillary Clinton does :\

ANYWHO... so yeah... what America has said no to. Let's see lack of religious freedom, lack of self-rule, among other things. While a lot of these concepts are not original are really any other country's modern concepts completely original? I wouldn't say many are. But America has said no to a lot of things arguably good or bad depending on political views. No to partial birth abortions, no to some gun control but there are some things that we say no to that forbid justice. We say yes to some death penalties for serial rapists and murderers yet we say no to the death penalty to those who torture, starve, and kill their own children through child abuse. We say yes to a free market however we say no to allowing cheaper generic drugs from other countries for those who have cancer or AIDS.

Oh yes and Kim I cannot believe that sad.gif I mean it's law & order for goodness sakes...

[Continue Off Topic Rant] That issue with Resistance is a bunch of bull shit anyways. They make it sound like you are killing other people (When in reality you kill a bunch of almost spider like things, two mini-Hulks and a lion on steroids, and a a few hybrids after that) with blood spraying everywhere (Orgy of blood I believe is the term used), they also call it photorealistic (I laughed at that one too, even though I have the game). Nathan Hale is saving the world, yet the Church doesn't allow that? Movies have done worse things inside a church, hell, even Homer Simpson has. 1we8.gif That was blown way out of proportion. They just got their panties all up in a bunch because they didn't get their royalties. dry.gif [/continue off topic rant]

Global warming is a theory, not an acutal real thing that is going to happen, it's just how the enviroment works every million or so years, it's just a fad politicans are jumping on to recieve more votes and publicity.

haha it took me a couple minutes to come up with NZ stuff. I'm glad I stumped you tongue.gif So I take it only the military and police are allowed guns? I mean if the cops here don't carry guns unless they know the situation they're going into has guns (or other weapons).

That's the same as the UK, the only people allowed to carry guns are the S019 (Armed response squad) and certain members of the public, examples are clay pidgeon shooting and certain types of hunting, but the rules are extremly strict on guns carried. (Not allowed to be carried outside, must be locked up, every X amount of months they would be inspected and so on).

Are you sure you'd need a chipped Wii? =/ Play.com is going to sell Manhunt 2 for Wii and there's no mention about what kind of Wii you'd need to play it. And for PS2 it says it'll only work on UK and Europe PS2s. Doesn't sound banned to mee o-o.

There aren't many things Canada has said no to. It's because we're a divided country. Like WWII half were for conscriptions (the english people that were already fighting) and half weren't (the cowardly asshole french people in Quebec). It's french vs. English here. I think Canada should let Quebec separate and than just invade xD
