I just learnt this, and I wanted others to learn how...

Anywhoo,

Pucker your mouth as if you were to whistle. Now, instead of blowing air out, use your tongue to push the air out through the hole to create a short noise (roughly a half-second long). Do this a couple of times, and after familiarising yourself with the noise, flick your cheek with your finger as you push the air out in order to create the sound.

It really sounds quite exquisite, and you can achieve several different noises by flicking different parts of your cheek (i.e bottom of the jaw)

I sat here for about a minute and a half pushing air out with my tongue and flicking myself and I probably made one sound that was close to a water drop sound

Thanks for posting this because it reminded me of the times me and my cousin would sit and just do this for hours. Yes, lame, but we had nothing better do with our lives at the age of 10. Ahh, good times good times.

You can also do water dropping sound with your lips which is way easier than with your mouth.

I could make some relatively close sounds to a water drop on a semi-regular basis! Hoorah for being mediocre!

I started trying that at like, 2 AM lastnight and when my cheek started hurting I began to try and teach myself to whistle Actually made more progress than I have ever made xD

WOW! I've known how to do this since 5th grade! (9 years ago)
My ex boyfriend used to do it ALL the time in class to annoy people.
I can't do it well right now because that piece of skin under my tongue is sore.
It works even better if you kind of thump the area under your mouth near your neck while you do it.

Saying that my lips get very dry, so I have to wet them before I whistle otherwise its a crap whistle. Lol.

haha, same here rambo my lips are constantly dry. They never used to be though so I am guessing it's because I smoke ciggerettes because that is about when I started always having dry lips. Well not like cracked up haha. Do you happen to smoke?

I've tried for about 5mins and i still cant do it....i can whistle and make my tongue into a flower but i cant make a water drop sound with my mouth
