Well, since technically he DID have over 100 in the 24 hour period, maybe we should cut him some slack? He obviously put in the effort to get to 100 posts.

Yea it is terrible, and I know a few people tried to get a hold of him. I myself have to goto bed now goin on 2am here. I made advanced tonight yea! Congrats to everyone else who made it.

Yeah a few others have said that he had 101 posts in the 24 hour period, but it went down to 99. Just in case though, someone hack into Oaken's account and post something!!

I was just thinking that too, would be cool to get him the 100 since he did work hard for it.

I wish we could give it to him out of the sympathy of our hearts(assuming he only had 99 posts in the ENTIRE 24 hour period), but rules are rules Plus, we codexians don't have hearts

Well, I don't think it's impossible, I mean how hard is it to write a few sentences? It may take a extra few seconds, but nothing considerably

It's taken me 9 hours just to get 100 posts. On my terms anyway, it's impossible

How can it go down? Not even deleting posts I think deducts from the person's post count. Don't know, never tried it

Here's the explination Hawk gave for why it might have gone down:

Here is how it works with the posts made in the day.

If you have 50 posts one minute, and 49 the next, I'll explain how that happened.

Say the time is 12:25 and you just went down one post in the last day, that means there was a post at 12:24 of the previous day which is no longer counted in the daily total.

EDIT: 100 post day is officially over

I think the fact that he had every reason to believe he *could* stop is reason enough to give it to him. I think it's a bit unfair otherwise.

Thats what I was thinking. He assumed that he had it, so he stopped posting and went to bed, which is where I should be right now. I think he should get it, and if he doesn't I'm going to cause a ruckus in the GC.

But 29 in each leap YEAR!

wow that's pretty nifty.. now i'm going to have that stuck in my head for the rest of my life.... i always had to look @ a calendar to see how many days a month had

Did I get the tag? I swear it said that I had over 100 when I left....sometimes the number of posts goes down though. Why does it do that?

I noticed Hazard had 91 at the finish but when I left he had over 100 in the chart too so his must have gone down too.
