Wow, I still can't believe it my 5 years old little sister type "www.neopets.com" into her browser >_>.
My dad gave her a laptop just to play some learning game on CD but today she opens Internet Explorer by herself and go directly into neopets.com homepage. Well, that is not really a big surprise but WTF she can spell Neopets.com. All that Neopets TV commercial must has really brainwashing lots of kids. haha

I guess Neopets can usually brainwash kids(especially if they're you sisters' age)that young. It brainwashed me when I was 12. Luckily I got old enough to realize it was just a game and it wasn't my life. She'll get out it someday...hopefully tongue.gif

*sigh*This reminds me of when I was 12 and I actually fed my pets because I thought it mattered. Crazy times tongue.gif ...

everything brainwashes kids these day. Whenever I take my 3 y/o to the store she is rattling off commercials she remember from the tv when she sees the toys in the store. Yet I can't get her to fully count from 1-15.

I have been noticing that a lot more with everyday sites. Just one little typo and bam there is porn on your screen. It happened to me at work which was all well and good except it went to some gender bender site and I was like um no i really didnt mean to go there.

    Don't lie to us tongue.gif

A lot of stuff brainwashes people. Seriously, how often does a commercial come on TV with a nice jingle that you don't know.

I have a four and a five year old cousin that both can go to Disney.com as well as play games! It's amazing how fast young children learn these days.

Yea it took a few weeks for the wise cracks at work to stop. I kept getting random tranny pics taped to my desk. I suppose it could have been worse tho.

It's also very awkward if something happens to, say... your mom...

Here in Australia, we have something called 'Channel Ten'. She wanted to check their show schedule, but typed in -removed-, instead of ten.com.au. Porn galore!

That's insane! Haha! My little brother didn't even start playing until he was 7 or so, and even then it was just the games and he didn't at all understand the fundamentals of the game as a whole. I can't imagine any 5 year old I know typing neopets into their browser, let alone playing it! lol

haha, that had to been akward. But yea, I got taken off of neopets when my parents came to the realization I was a little too obsessed with it. I finally got back and signed up again 2 years ago. Other wise i would have been on there for 7 years. Luckily I got unbrainwashed tongue.gif

HAHA Rambo, that's just wrong tongue.gif lol.

Remember though they will redirect to the main site from almost any mispelt link (since they own almost all the mispelt links).

Or did you watch her type it in and everything?

My dad told me to give his personal laptop to her and she is the only one in the room. lookaround.gif
Maybe I should make an account for her and let her play all the games and I get free neopoints..xD

Neopets isn't as addictive as everyone makes it out to be. Eventually your sister will tire of it and just quit, like I did. tongue.gif
