i went to take my nerd friend and i was so scared of all those extreme harrypotter fans aka nerds they scared me to death i was the second one in line and got my book at 12:01

The fake one was left in Gringotts.
Griphook took the real one.

Neville pulled one out of the Sorting Hat later on to kill Nagini.

lol wur did nevils come frum? People have told me that the Sorting Hat has powers to summon it, but I don't really buy it. I know that Harry got the sword in the Chamber of Secrets, but I always thought that he put the sword in there and sent Fawkes.

He got the sword out of the sorting hat in the Chamber of Secrets. Then Dumbledore told him that only a true gryffindor could pull the sword out of the hat. If that explains anything.

I think that it wasn't all that nice. DEFENITELY, should NOT have killed Fred, George is like empty without him. And, why did she not kill Ron or hermione? I mean, come on! Kill some Main Character already! Harry/Ginny was so stupid, and the poor kid with the name 'Albus Severus'. Anyone with the smallest ounce of wit would have relaised Snape was a good guy, but I dont mind that part. But, Scorpius has to be the coolest name ever, YAY FOR DRACO! ^^

I thought the way Voldemort died was a bit anti-climactic. a big monologue, and everything is gone and done in a split second.

Unsatisfied anyone?

I thought the final of series was terribly disappointing.
The plot seemed rushed and forced, especially towards the end.
I wasn't surprised by anything at all. You knew Harry wasn't going to die. Of course you knew Voldemort was going to die. And most of the other deaths just flew on by. Nothing like anything you felt when you read Sirius, Cedric, or Dumbledore died.
And worst of all.. it was so cheesy. Voldemort couldn't kill Harry because he had love with him.. and his wand was imbued with it. The epilogue couldn't have been cheesier as well.
I did like Snape's turn out though. It felt like the one bit of emotion reading it though.

But seriously.. Was it just my mentality reading this, were the other 6 just as cheesy, or do people agree?

I have some complaints
first, The camping trip from hell wastes time and breath in the middle of the book it just seems to go around in circles in a blind romp around the wizarding world. Ron begins to bitch, blah blah blah.

second. SNAPE... he died like a little bitch, i wanted snape to be like neo, it was so gay how he died it was like seacrest running around in a madonna flesh coat.

third. character development and over all story line was a chopped up pasted together while the writer was having an epileptic seizure while tripping on shrooms.

oh and reading the middle of the book was like having my balls hammered with a mallet.

Wasn't it obvious when it said their dead bodies were in the hall with the rest of the dead with people crying round them? I guess though it wasn't exactly well described (only like one short sentence which you could have easily overlooked I guess)

Probably because I read like 300 pages in a sitting, but I read them sitting together, when I went back it was something more like "it looked as they were just peacefully sitting together"

LOL!!! *whew* i finally finished reading this over yesterday (had to read Half-Blood first)

personally, i thought it was really good, everything finished how i thought it was supposed to have finished. i still get a kick out of Grawp yelling "HAGGER!!"

although, i was very pleasantly surprised that Kreacher ended up leading the House Elves into the fray at the end.

that was pretty sweet.

oh, i dunno if any of you heard this, but apparently JK is supposed to be working on some sort of Harry Potter Encyclopedia... so that might help answer further question. (i know i'd def buy it)

I think not killing any of the main characters was actually a brave decision. It so happens that books in which one of the main characters die stick to your mind the most, and most writers make use of this knowledge, but I was happy to see this wasn't the case. I felt sorry for Lupin and for Dobby (wished Kreacher had been there instead), but I would've never wanted to hear of HP again if Ron had died .
I bet JK knew she'd be accused of cheesiness . But if nothing but skill had saved Harry's life all along, then she might as well have turned to programming instead and created the HP games herself.
And Albus Severus was a cool choice.
