Someone informed me of this thread very recently entitled "I have a neopoint generator" and I decided I would clear it up as much as I can. You're throwing around all these names and even questioning my ability. The fact of the matter is that I haven't played neopets very long at all AND I have spoken to the user Sockopen before because I was interested in his thread showing a Perl Neopets Fake Score sender. I tried talking to him about fixing it because I couldn't get it to compile and I had (and still do) very little knowledge of Perl (Although the similarities with PHP gave me an advantage). After I found he was virtually useless when it comes to helping because he couldn't "confirm my identity" (I HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE CHEATING COMMUNITY VERY LONG AT ALL) and/or he was too busy to do a damn thing I decided to spend the 3 days it takes to run through and fully understand neopets encryption. SIMPLE AS THAT (Go ahead and ask me questions about it as much as you want but the fact of the matter is that I will be able to answer every single one and then what have we accomplished??? Christ sake!). I didn't even reference his damn code. The only thing Sockopen contributed in relation to my code was saying that it's all "in front of you in Plaintext". That statement kept me going. It's not all that HARD. I was about to release it open source and even released the decryption method to inspire other people when I decided that I liked the cheating community and wanted to become a bigger part of it. That was when I decided that I could take this as an opportunity to start a team of some sort because I know I am a good coder and it would be great to release all kinds of weird tools as a stress reliever. I then posted a thread on GamingGutter that surrounded what I was doing with some mystique. I got a pretty good response and decided to start a team.

Someone pointed out something very good as far as fishy goes. If I had the knowledge to go through Neopets actionscript and make a method to decrypt AND encrypt it, why would I need someone else to do the work? Well it just so happens that the first person I wanted to join my team is DAMN dedicated. So dedicated in fact, that he took it upon himself to begin coding an automated version of it. Could I have done this by myself? ...err yeah. But what the hell is a team for then? In the meantime, I was (and still am) snowed in with summer assignments from school that I have 4 barkING days more to do when I need 2 weeks! and I'm sitting up here trying to straighten out some insanely paranoid people for a team member who is so dedicated that it's causing problems. Everyone here is so eager to play devils advocate that it makes me wonder why I wanted to become a part of the cheating community in the first place...

So you don't know PERL, and you found the source code of Raui's Score Sender and decided that you now know how to de/encrypt Neopet's scores?

It's funny how it took you 'a couple of days' to figure out the method of de/encryption, but you're too lazy to make it loop around because you have too much homework?

No offense, but PHP is really the first language the programmers learn (I wouldn't even call it a language, but some argue it's so), and I find it hard to believe that someone with your knowledge (just of PHP I might add) figured out the whole Neopets de/encryption in a couple of days.

thats nice and all, But the reason we are paranoid is because your "Damn Dedicated Partner" does not want to go through the Due Process of submitting an app, for fear of "the code being stolen or leaked across the net" there are ways things are done here, If you don't like it, tough titty said the kitty.

It's virtually obvious that you didn't read what I said. If this Raui guy and Sockopen are the same person then yes I tried to compiler their code with no success. And OF COURSE I CAN MAKE IT MYSELF, I can take everything upon myself to make it and if I had 2 days to myself I could come up with an extremely good end result. But what was all this talk about a team? Did I miss something? Didn't I just say that I wanted to become a better part of the cheating community by starting a team? Did I say PHP was the only language I know? You sound like a real kiddie when you speak in terms of some languages being beginner languages...Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. PHP is an extremely powerful language in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing and judging from that quote above I don't think that would apply to you. My original intention was to leave the Neopets Decryption and Encryption process server side and allow people to access it via custom made clients or a standard client I was going to make in Java to do the crawling of the Neopets site. I knew that I could keep up with the encryption scheme if ever Neopets decided to change it so rather than having peoples code break I was going to store it in a place where I could easily update it and people wouldn't have to modify their client at all or in the very least very little. No my friend, making it "loop" doesn't mean a damn thing to me so I won't justify that with an answer.

That's not fair at all, you're posting faster than I can answer. But I like a good challenge so I'll stick around (Just remember that if I get a C in Calculus BC because some jerks are startled when someone brings knowledge to the table that they couldn't bring themselves...I'm going to be pissed. In that worst case scenario you can give yourself a pat on the back because I'm sure that's your goal right now.) Anyway, rants aside, I can associate with my partners paranoia, it's hard letting something go. Period. It's getting to the point where I don't give a damn whether or not I'm following bureaucratic procedures because I'm on the verge of just kicking this whole thing into the dust. In that case, you guys have just lost not only a good programmer, but a programmer that's willing to help. And believe me when I say that whatever my partner posted needing help with, we could have done it ourselves. That's the point you are missing.

    Too lazy to read.

Try spacing out different thoughts into different lines, makes it easier to read.

    ^^ Like that.

By the way, Calculus BC is a barking cakewalk, if you're as intelligent as you claim to be, you shouldn't have to worry about getting a C because you know more than anyone else.

Now I understand what you're saying. So much easier reading different thoughts when they're spaced out.

the bottom line is, we have these "bureaucratic procedures" for a reason.

whether it be suspect that you might be stealing code, stealing passwords, or some other unsavory...thing...or even that we arent suspect at all. The admins still need to see your code. How hard is that?

and If you dont listen to anything else I say, listen to this.

You wouldnt have picked this site if you didnt "trust" the admins, or you would have went somewhere else. neopets cheat sites are somewhat common now, you could have went anywhere you pleased, but you went here. If you dont trust the place youre asking help from, Don't ask in the first place.

I didn't pick this site. I was informed of it by a member of this site who knew me and was concerned about the path a certain thread was taking.

I'm sure that they are common now that you have said it. You are talking as if I'm a hardcore player, I'm still a newbie mate wink.gif

I'll remember the last piece of advise you said, but I can't find anywhere to apply that in my life in the present or even the past considering the fact that I didn't ask for help =S

English really should have a different version of "you" for the plural.
It would clear up quite a few misconceptions...

Like the last thread I want to post my thoughts. All I am suggesting is you don't go any further into the project. I am the original Author. Sockopen Didn't help me in any way what so ever. Your story has alot of loopholes in it too. I mean you claim to not know perl...How'd you port it to PHP ?
