I have invested a lot of np into the stockmarket, about 500k. and they are all on 15np stocks.
When should i sell?
would it be better to keep them for as long as possible?
how much is everyone making from the stock market?
Should i start buying some of the more expensive stocks that are on the rise instead of the lame 15np stocks?

I always lose np on the market. You got any hints on how to make the most out of the stock market? tongue.gif

As far as I know the market is just a gamble. You should just sell when you fell you should and are happy with your profit because the price could drop very quickly.

one thing you have to remember is that you can never losa nps on the stock market....only if you want to lose...never sell your shares untill you have made some profit.

Always buy at 15np a share, and always buy 1000 shares. After that, its random what happens to the stock, but set a number, and only sell if the price reaches that number. I usually sell at 45, because that 200% increase. I know some people wait for 100. It just depends on how patient you are and how long your willing to wait.

You can never lose money on stocks as long as you don't sell them when they are below your buying price. So, just never sell a negative profit stock. tongue.gif

The stocks rise and fall all the time. If you need np that bad, play a few games. Selling stocks for a loss really hurts.

I don't really play all that much at the moment so there shouldn't be a problem with me getting stocks with all my np and hoping for the best.

I seem to remember there being a limit on how many you could get per day...is that right?

for the win. ftl = for the loss

Anyways stocks are a great investment if you don't think you're going to get iced any time soon. You always want to buy 1000 stocks a day for 15 each and try to get as many different stocks as possible (don't put all your eggs in one basket). You can sell at whatever you want but normally your minimum goal should be 30 that way you get 100% profit. If you want a larger portfolio you can increase your minimum sell point to 45, 60 or higher. Highering your minimum sell point will increase the amount of profit you make but it also means that you have to wait longer and there's always the chance of a stock going down really quick or crashing. You can lose neopoints if the stock crashes (goes to 0 and never comes back up) but thats unlikely so as long as you sell for higher than you bought for you will be getting profit.

I just made 300k by selling stocks today. I'd paid 15 np per share and they went up to 60.
But I don't usually wait that much. I used to wait until they got to 40, now I wait until 45-50.
Anyway, like everyone else said, you can't lose in this game, as long as you're patient. I have 1 mil. invested in the stocks now. Just forget all about that money. It'll pay off.
That's how I got rich when I hadn't heard of cheating progs tongue.gif.

You always want to invest in stocks that have dropped down to 18-15 yes DROPPED not GAINED, you may think I'm crazy but I"m not. Theese are for long termed stocks, meaning you'll keep them for a long time. Trust me you'll make plenty of $ by doing this, stock for me is the main neopoint gainer for me

DaBomb, first of all please resize your sig.If you want referrals post it somewhere. People will help you if they want. Your taking up space and making therads longer. Also it doesn't really matter if it dropped or raise. Just buy at 15 and you'll be fine.

meh... stocks might take a little research and it would definitely help if you had lots of neopoints when you start uh... go to neodaq.com it has a great guide on how to use the stock market and stock trends are kept there too, stock market is a great way to help multiply your neopoints

if done correctly you could make alot of neopoints fast but also it does take a bit of patience too
