How does knowing that there's more of these people make it less scary?

Wait a minute. The American Government lied to me? Are you saying, that you, a one "Faraazs Sherawalzieah"(I can't spell your damn name.) are NOT a terrorist?
BTW. Get a name change. To something American. Like "Joe Somebody", or "John Smith".

Exactly. Urban saying anyone who is not an Evangelical Christian will be bewildered is stereotypical and WRONG. Saying that these are run of the mill Evangelical Christians is completely stereotypical. We are nothing like this whatsoever. Making kids speak in tongues is sick and a practice almost never followed. These are extremists and should be treated as Hydro said like the extremist Muslims of Islam. They're insane, not the norm. Evangelical Christians have a bad name because of these people, yes. But Muslims also have a bad name because of terrorists. It isn't fair to say what you did at all and it's very intolerant :\

Also. The bit about global warming. I think they must have taken an online course for "Thermodynamics and You". Yeah, 0.6 isn't much of a different. Hell. Ice will freeze at 32.6 degrees if we say "0.6 degrees doesn't matter."
I'll update as I watch more...
"Who's in tha house?!? JC!"
OMFG! HARRY POTTER IS THE ENEMY OF GOD!?!?!?!?!?!

I keep hearing the word "train". I train a dog to fetch. I do not train him to worship me. I think "training" people to worship Jesus and to "train" others is just barking wrong...
I am TRULY in awe... NEARLY lost for words. That is BLATANT brainwashing. Children that young are very mailable, very easily manipulated. That's what those people are doing. It is utterly disgusting and only further strengthens my Atheism.
If I am wrong, and there is a God. I sincerely hope to see people like her burning in hell right beside me....

My dad was raised Catholic, and he went to one of those crazy Catholic schools with evil nuns...I'll share two stories that he shared with me:
The nun was standing at the chalkboard, and she drew a circle on the board. "This is your soul...and this is a mark of sin." She drew a line through it. "And this is." She drew another line. "AND THIS IS!" She snapped and started forcibly striking several lines across the circle while shouting, terrifying the little kids.
A nun walked into the room with some various Catholic 'merchandise'. "But you can save yourself from sin, if you accept the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost." My dad picked up one of the trinkets: a necklace that had a picture of the Virgin Mary. Supposedly, if he were to wear this around his neck, even if he did not confess his sins he would still go to heaven, regardless of whatever sin he committed. I guess that made him become a quiet sort of atheist right there, because he immediately thought 'wasn't Hitler Catholic?'.
My point is that every religion has a nasty side. It's just up to you if you ignore it or not. I knew that this crazy Christian stuff was happening in the country quite a while back...but tell that to ANY Christian and they'll go nuts. It's just not right to them, to be told that yes, even their religion has nut jobs, whackos, and evil people.

They got a mandate, they don't want man-dates, they got so many hates and people to despise
In the dust bowl, cerebral black hole, the average weight is well over 200 pounds
I hate to generalize, but have you seen the thighs, most haven't seen their genitalia in a while
Maybe that's why they're so scared of us
Their Jealous cause we're having better sex
Queers, transgends, and lesbians, vegans and vegetarians
All you brownish red and yellow ones come and join us on the coast
No longer svelte, they gotta punch new holes in the Bible belt
They've blown out the fire under the melting pot, the red blood of America is starting to clot
No compromise, no sight through others' eyes, they're just flies spreading pieces of shit
You gotta emigrate, stop living in hate, what makes this country great is dwelling on either side
They don't want visitors in Jesusland
They want life canned and bland in the fatherland
We want people with college degrees, drug use experience and STD's
People with open-minded philosophies, come hug California trees
Cultural revolution now, neo-conservatives run outta town
We're gonna burn Orange County down,
And then we're off to Riverside, Bakersfield and Fresno too, then we're coming after you
The fear stricken, born again Christian, they got a vision a homogenized state
Textbook decline, Intelligent Design
They got Bill Nye on the list to execrate.
They don't want visitors in Jesusland
They want life canned and bland in the fatherland
Punk Rockers versuz emo kids, people doing things the church forbids
Buddhists, agnostics, and atheists we're moving out of jesusland
Art students and thespians, excluding country, all the musicians
We want all hookers and comedians, nihilists are welcome too
No longer svelte, they gotta punch new holes in the Bible belt
You know where to find it if you want to listen.

I saw a clip of this on the news a couple months ago. To say it's scary is an understatement, and I'm surprised authorities haven't interjected yet. Free speech should only extend until it inflicts on others, and those kids have not been given a chance to think any different.
While I think everyone is entitled to believe what they want, I do not believe in their attempts to inflict their beliefs on others, and this is where authorities should be drawing the line.
Diss NOFX aagain, and thou shalt die...

yea agreed, the song is sang horribly and it's a shame that the lyrics are wasted on such a bad track :\

Do you wanna go to the matinee?

Do you wanna go to the amusement park?

Do you wanna go to the punk rock show?

I think it could been sung a lot better, it felt like it required a soft but rough voice, not the harsh punk vocal... it just didn't fit the lyrics nor what the lyrics represented either.
Music fact (not theory): NoFx is Jesus/Paul/Simon returned.

Aren't they just another whiny band?

I'd rate them below Elton John. Bwahaha!

Every Evangelical Christian that I have ever met (besides you) has had similar beliefs to the ones expressed in this movie (maybe not speaking in tongues, but many of the same beliefs). My grandparents are Evangelical Christians and they are pretty much along the same lines.
Sorry if I offended you.

It's fine but all that Evangelical means is 'spreading the word' It's the mission all Christians are meant to do. Evangelicals are given a bad name because of pricks like this but in reality we're like any other Christian. I think it's unfortunate you've known so many extremists. :\ I'm sorry your view of Christianity has been spoiled by them because it's really not right. Extremists like this give the normal guys (people like me and my congregation) a really bad name. Heck my congregation's more conservative than others and we think these guys are insane.

My problem with the Evie's of the world is that -almost- all of them are evil in some sort of way, like the Jesus Camp people or Jerry Falwell, some are nice but mean, like Evie, and some are normal, like Tetiel. It's the normal ones that I give a thumbs up to, because they some how manage to not spend 90% of their lives pissing me off like the former two do o.O
On a side note, my Betta Fish is going crazy with his bubble nest, haha...
