Ok I downloaded the program, and all of the required programs listed. But I keep getting the error:

"Component 'tabctl32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

A few people said to google and download the file, so I did. I put it in both the System32 folder and the folder I have Dice-A-Roo-AP in.

Now when I run the program I get a New Error but this one is by windows. Its just one of those windows that pop up and say "Project1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

I've also opened the properties of the Dice-A-Roo AP.exe and set the system requirement to match Windows 98 and 2000, and that didn't work either.

Apparently I'm not the only one having this problem. I've looked around on a few forums and it keeps popping up. I haven't seen any proposed solutions though. Do any of you have any ideas?

PS. Sorry for the mutiple post. I did the last two earlier form a mac, and it was totally screwed up so when I typed all this out, it just said "Undefined".... apparently there is some compatibility issues there

And next time, post your error in the program's own topic. For the love of God.

I did post it in the program thread. But it hasn't been commented on by anyone in 20 days, so it's pretty much dead. There is a lot more traffic and help available here. I'm going to go try that link posted above. I'll let you know how it turns out

I installed those files, and now I'm recieving the error "Codex CHeck Module Version: 3.1.4.0 DLL Set-up Error -RunCodexCheck- 0 - Please Check you have the Required files"

So I'm guessing this means I don't have the Codex file thing installed correctly. Can someone give me instructions for doing that? I mean I downloaded and clicked the install button...

yeah, that's something i've always wondered about, how the creators rarely check some of their threads over there. sad.gif
