Thus, if you are going for the I taunt the pant devil avatar and have a very expensive item in your inventory but don't want the pant devil to take it, then you should have the attractor in your inventory so he won't steal the expensive item.
It doesn't increase the likelihood of the pant devil coming, just makes sure that if it does, it won't take anything but the attractor.
Ohhh.
Misunderstood. Never heard of this attractor hoo-hah.

it's not 100% chance that he will steal the attractor, but the chance is noticeably increased. if you carry more than 1 though. he will almost assuredly grab one of the two.

hehe I guess. When I said I thought it would be more expensive I did just mean a few thousand though....not in the hundreds of thousands or anything
I don't think I would have the guts to go for that avatar. I would be so gutted if I lost the 10 mill item

Other than that, people might restock for quite some time and not want to lose anything before they can get to putting the item up for trade or in shop.
I've heard many people say they've got an item in a random event then the next page over, the pant devil comes along and takes it before they even had the chance to put the item anywhere. I've even seen a screenie where the two events happened on the same page
OUCH...talk about unlucky =(
But hey...at least they got the avatar?

a: use a ABer (and don't want to lose profit)
b: use the dice-a-rooer. (since you can win neggs from it)
c: use the cliffhanger autoplayer (since you can win PBs and Neggs from REs)

plus in my opinion it would not defeat the purpose of it if it was slightly more expensive...like I said....I don't mean alot more. If you were going for the Avvie then all you have to do is put 49 of those in your inventory plus the 10 mill item and you are pretty much guaranteed to be safe.

yeah, a raise to around 10k would be good, since i don't think anyone would specifically have those in their inventory to protect something that's a buyable
49's really...

If I ever got some 10 million item I probably would put 48 or so of those attractors in my inventory. And refresh indefinitely. I have this fear that I wouldn't be able to raise up enough money ever again. XD
Or maybe I'm just too much of a packrat to want to part with so many points a second time. ;;
