I don't know about myself but my Dad really likes brain. I can't be in the same room while he is eating that. It makes me almost throw up

I haven't had many opportunities to try strange things.
I like ebi, but I'm sure a lot of people like shrimp sushi.

As far as odd foods go, I really want to go to Japan and check out the entire odd food district they have. I'm amazed foogie has nothing interesting to say on the subject, because there are TONS of odd foods in Japan.

Grass Jelly is supposed to be eaten mixed with other things, and Soursop is supposed to be juiced, and honestly the juice isnt all that bad.

lol, well I came across plenty of weird foods.... but if it looked gross, I wouldn't eat it.
for example, my favorite bar had a dish which consisted of raw chicken.
yes.
raw.
that was just gross... I couldn't get over the whole samonella thing, so i never tried it.
same with the dishes which are a bunch of slabs of raw fish you dip in sauce and eat, the was just gross.

If a chicken is killed and served (raw) within 8 hours, there is no risk of Salmonella.
