Anyone ever remember dreams that happened months/years ago, or so it seems? I sometimes have "flashbacks" where I remember dreams that seem like they're months old, and probably are because sometimes I feel like I recognize the time were put into my memory... 1we8.gif

I usually don't remember my dreams. There is one dream I can recall though:
I'm sitting completely alone on this New York subway (and I've never been on a NY subway). The subway doors open and this huge purple H floats into the subway and sits down. I say 'Hi' and it says 'Sup yo.' Then all the subway doors open and the letters S, I, O, P, B, K, C, and U float in. They sit down and all say 'Whazz crackin'?' So I'm sitting there trying to figure out what the hell is going on, Then, I woke up.
I had a chem test that day in which part of it was memorizing certain elements and they're symbols...I aced it. tongue.gif So yeah...I think I had a burrito from Taco Bell for dinner that night or something so I blame that. tongue.gif

Everyone dreams, as far as I know. It's just some people don't remember them.

There are alot of dreams that I remember even though they happened such a long time ago. I still remember a dream from back when I was 5 (12 years ago). Funny thing is sometimes I get a deja vu in my dream where it feels like I've dreamt it before tongue.gif

DUDE I love that song in your sig tongue.gif

Guys, I mean dreams that you don't remember until months after you had it. Like... some days I'm walking, and it's like a flashback of a dream months ago, that I NEVER knew I had until now. 1we8.gif

Yeah, I had a dream about a shark in my living room and I didn't want to get down from the sofa because i was scared it was going to eat me (I was 4-5, now I'm 21 1we8.gif)...Also had a dream that Freddy Krueger jumped out of my window (was also 4-5). Also had a really vivid and grotesque dreams about clowns rounding up people in those circus tents and then picking people to kill...heads chopped off...the works...i woke up just before they were goign to kill my mom (I think I was 16). When I was 11-12 I kept on having a weird recurring dream about big balls made out of sand but I was in the ball or was the ball and it was like a game...just crashing into other balls and destroying them.

oh never mind, in that case i've never experienced those type of dreams, i think max has been 2 days for me to remember dreams

I only have one dream that I vividly remember and have recurrently. I'm the passenger in an old timey truck at night. We are riding down some winding dirt road going up what seems like a volcano, because it just keeps spiraling upwards. Some car is in our lane and blinds us with their lights, and the driver(no idea who it is to this day) slams the brakes and we skid. My door flies open and I start rolling down the landscape. When I stop rolling I'm in a pit only to find that it's wriggling.....its snakes. I always wake up right when one lunges for my face. It still makes me wake up in a cold sweat.

i think i was in like 4th grade, i dreamt that i was walking into this cave that apparently led to a volcano, because as i went further pools of lava started to form. as i walked i could see skeletons floating to the surface, except the skulls had expressions on them. i kept walking further until the ground basically became a bridge surrounded by lava. i reached the end of the bridge, which has this little island and as i looked down into the lava, i saw words begin to appear like "mesozoic" and other odd words that most 4th graders don't use... then right in front of me, this armor-clad figure slowly rose from the sea of lava. he had a viking style helmet on, and his face was shadowed, except for his piercing red eyes. he rose until he was only about knee-deep and started to talk to me in a deep, raspy voice. i slowly tried to turn around, and woke up.

i'll never forget that dream for as long as a live XD

I had this dream in middle school... where me and some of my friends were in a beach house atop a rocky cliff just talking about things, then the sky got dark and for some reason I looked down onto the beach below.

On the beach a man in all black clothes with a Scream (the painting)-like sunken face and just overall nearly grey skin was looking up at me. And for some reason he turned out to be the ghost of Edgar Allen Poe. My dad appeared out of no where and started reading a poem I'd never heard before, about death. It'd be Poe-like, but definitely wasn't Poe. When he finished reading I turned around and the Ghost was right in front of my face.

And I shot up out of bed and woke up. happy.gif

It's been 10+ years, but I still remember it.

It's called deja vu usually. smile.gif Where you know you've seen it before but you just don't know where. I feel that a lot but it's very strange like it's only bits of scenery that I know and something just feels... familiar... but you don't know why.

And since people are posting dreams I might as well... When I was very very little I dreamed that the big red hairy monster from bugs bunny was coming through a tunnel in my pillow and was going to eat me! I must have been around five but I never forgot it.

The flying dreams are always the coolest and the most vivid to me (the ones I can remember the longest). I usually don't get nightmares and if I do, I tend to forget about them (fortunately tongue.gif).
