Hi there...

I hate my job... or better I hate the store where I'm working.
I'm a clerk, full-time clerk at a pet store...
I love being a clerk cuz I'm honest and dont wanna sell shit to people and say "This is the best".
So why do I hate my store?

1.) my co-workers are like big crying kids, do always gossip, crying and pretty stupid!
2.) I'm underpayed. I have a 35h week and get just 330€ a month (its like 420$ or something)
3.) since I have a new boss I had no off-weekend, had to work at christmas and new years and they canceled my vacation.
Happy happy joy joy...

Still hope to find a better job, a nice location and co-workers with brain...

I don't mind my job it's just that it's really boring. The work I do is really easy and I get $9.20 per hour

Gosh that sucks to hear . Hopefully you can find a job that you like soon. You should always be doing what you like preferrably. I like though that you are honest . That's a trait that we really need this day and age.

As for me, I work part time as a student programmer at my university and give support to the people who use the computer science lab. I really like the job. Pay isn't all that great but I'm really not doing it for the money .

I'm a First Line Support Analyst for the Ministry of Justice.

I just like saying that.

In other words I work on a helpdesk for courts. XD ! I've only been there since December, so I'm still enjoying it =]

I can relate. My job sounds cool - I work in the cafe and gift shop section of a chocolate factory. But most of the people (including the manager) are nasty pieces of work, they gossip, they bitch and moan about tiny inconsequential things, they taddle on you by making those tiny issues into something big. And the manager has it in for me also, refuses to give me a 3rd shift while others are getting 4 or 5 shifts.

I can actually relate that to my school excluding the last bit that is

Yeah I like being a clerk, I like the most of my customers but yeah... my co-workers, my boss and the whole thing with them is annoying. Yesterday my boss said to me while she told me first "yeah so the 2nd cashdesk broke, so your the only cashier til 8pm" it was 11am at the moment and I explode!
I told her dont stay the whole saturday behind a cashdesk, without a break for that long time and that's not my business that the other cashdeks broke, so she should fix it quickly or can kiss my ass, cuz I'm not her donkey!

Oh and she was pissed... hell yes she was pissed and saig "You can be glad that YOU have an off day next saturday"
Oh yes I'm so glad.... not really.
I told her "Oh come on... I wanted an OFF WEEKEND... weekend begins one day earlier and YOU can be glad that I didnt quit til now"
Then we both was pissy... and at 3 she came down and said "its ok... you can go and do something else, somebody else can go behind the cash desk"
haha... I won!
But I'm still pissy and I give myself 4 more weeks there and then I'll go. Nobody here in germany can live with only 330€ a month. Not if you have bills to pay

I drive a bobcat... infact, this year my dad is buying me a brand new bobcat.

I work as a freelance web designer. I like the pay but the income isn't consistent as it's difficult to find clients. I also have an internship at an engineering firm where I do web design as well. My mentor is really chill and it's a lot of fun. Buuut I still need a real job. Applying to Banana Republic sometime this week.

Those should be the conditions, if it's anything like the canadian army. I know some people that are making over 100k a year because they're working civvy jobs with the armed forces while collecting their pensions

And the boss//manager is a 40 something year old bitch who GOES BY the rules and hardly allows any "fun."

My friends friend did that and got free movie tickets and so every thursday night they would go out for a movie, for free .

To a certain degree.
I get retirement points, and i can get a civilian job, but can only make a certain amount otherwise i do not retain some of my benifets.

I get paid but not in money but by love! lol I am a stay at home mom so my job can be fun and stressful all in one but I wouldn't change it for anything or anyone!
