I've noticed more and more spam and less and less decent topics that have had some thought put into them. Hydro's said in Staff GC that there are no, and aren't going to be any, spam rules. I think this is, to put it nicely, pathetic.
If the rate of spam goes on that's all people will see here and valued members will leave, and I know that many have given up on Neopets so have no need to goto another Neopets cheating site.
So, do you think we should keep it where we don't have spam rules and become a crap hole, or have spam rules and go back to how we were in April ti'me, with quality posts?

Yes I am a HUGE hater of people tat just post little repitive annoying messages. I don't mind people going off topic and I hate it when people say off topic but spam pisses me off. About the off topic (that wasn't metioned in typhoons post but I may aswell talk about my opinion a bit more...People aren't going to make a new thread just to talk about something else, it doesn't happen, boards are boring if people stay on topic, I ope you see my point :p

Fine, Ali, and ty, Why do you have to rebel if you dont get what you want?

I mean, If hydro said its gonna be like that, why start this topic? I mean, its pointless.

well.....it's not pointless...I defend both ty and Ali it's the most valid point ever...If lots of people vote for stopping spam then maybe hydro might change his mind (it happens). The site WILL degrade slowly as more people post smaller and more annoying posts..well that's why I currently don't spend the largest amount of ti'me here :p

It [B]Is{/B] Rebelling, just becuase you dont like the idea, doesnt mean the whole of codex wont like it. I'm getting a little sick of the mods trying to change things that have already been decided on, Why are you doing this, you think Hydrogen cant make a responsible decision? Well?

Oh I'm sorry you're right, me voting in a poll is such a great act of rebellion.
The whole of Codex will never want anything, it's pretty much I'mpossible to get a unani'mous decision but look...6-1 so far in favour of spam rules, so stop just attacking us when obviously other people would like it too...
The Admin aren't dictators, if a majority would like something then I'm sure they'll consider it, all this is a poll to try and find out what people think of the idea so grow up and stop trying to pick fights.

See it as being arrogant if you wish but you're not a mod, so you have no idea how hard it is to do our job when we've got to go through pages and pages of spam just to get to the point of a topic and decide if it's acceptable or not.

I don't really like spam that much although I have apparantly been considered a spammer it seems :p . Itall depends on the degree of spam I think. Ali, and Ty, what wxactlyare you talking about when you mean spam?

I see spam as just pure pointless messages, like asasasfefsgsdg, just random typing really, or stuff like one word answers "lol"

-.-, spam = small pointless annoying messages. I'm all in favro for having atleast some boundries on it. Though if it means undermining Hydrogen, then  forget anything about the spam rules relating to me. Personaly I don't seem to see 'too' much spam, but I'm not denying the fact that there is an increasement in spam.

OffTopicness - well it is just natural to go off topic, but to completely alter the topic of the board w/o making a new one should be a semi-rule. I mean a lot of us already know most the 'unwritten' rules, such as spam, and off topic messages.  (just my meaningless insight)

We just don't want to be TOO strict on spam, like neotwist, if you spam there, you get like -5 rep, suspened and like a 100% warn.

If we start punishing more on spam, people will be insulted, they will cause a ruckus, make the staff look bad, etc.... Like that guy who was suicidal just because staff sent hi'm a notification, etc...

They probably view spam much differently than us.

Some obvious rules like, more then one word posts (for the sake of that person in fact so Ali doesn't kill them :p ), keep at least to a small degree the topic on hand, try to explain your point of view in a semi clear matter?

I say we stick with the notifications, and the mods/admins can clean out the junk. What do you think about that?

My my Lemony. A powerful yet si'mple twoword post. How do you do it? Either I don't think I spam too much, so I am guessing what happens won't affect me that much anyway.

Heh. The only "Spam" that annoys me is the short pointless ones, e.g. dljfdsflsjfksd, lol, hi, sup, etc,
