Merge usually merges into the oldest topic and takes the title from that one... so it shouldn't have done that. If I remember correctly anyway, it's been a while since I've done a merge...

Merge takes the current topic and puts all the posts from the other topic into the current one .

Well I changed the topic title, moved it back to the correct forum, and editted the decoder news post and plot topic with the new URL since I fucked up the old one.

It's just that I've merged topics into that topic before and I did the same thing that I've been doing when merging. It's turned out fine all the other times.

The new nav bar looks great, and it seems like the IPBStore is going to be a good thing, but we'll see. Still, lovely upgrade, yay for not destroying Codex while you installed it!

We're having some problems with some of the items and my friend distracted me the whole day, so I'll hopefully get more items up tomorrow. I hate broken items.

The way we upgraded the board this time was having a totally seperate installation of the 2.3.4 version of IPB with a concurrent connection to the Neocodex database. That means that we could add mods to the new version of the board scritps and have a live preview of the board with all of your new posts coming in since it connected to the same database at the same time. Also, if we ever had any errors (and believe me...we did ) you guys wouldn't see it but we would be able to sort things out . In the end, it really worked out for us.

Neocodex - Version 2.3.4

It is my pleasure to announce that the Neocodex forum and website upgrade has been completed. The forum is now running the newest version of Invision Power Board, and we have added many new custom capabilities to the site. Below, we will explain some of the new functions available on the board and how to use them:

New Features:

• New Default Skin - IP.Board Pro[list]
• Probably the most prominent of our changes is the new default skin of Neocodex. We have decided to finally retire the classic IPB look of the site and move over to the new default standard for forums running IPB. This new skin is a bit darker than the old one (which may be good news to some members), and it seems like a very nice skin to have.
