Keep in mind only the beginning is about marijuana, not the whole video.

I agree with a lot of that. I for one am not pleased with the way our pharmacutical companies are acting especially with cancer or AIDS medication. My dad's chemo without insurance was like $1k a pop. Which is freaking insane. As they are a business it's money money money and they spend it on these god awful commercials which tell you nothing about what the drug is. I don't like his argument about the whole marijuana thing at the beginning though xD If he's like that he may as well say that we should make opium and heroin legal too because it's from poppies which is all natural. Which brings to the obesity thing... Obesity is causing our health care system billions of dollars every year because people can't have self control. I mean I battle with it too. I try to eat right and it IS hard especially when you're in situations like mine where I can't cook my own food. But I mean it's just called... willpower and eating less :\ You'll feel so much better once you lose weight. You're just putting yourself at risk for diabetes and cancer. The cheese fries aren't worth it.

To the homeless argument weeeeeeeeell... it's more a problem with our psychiatric health care. If a person is not deemed to be a danger to himself (as in suicide risk) or to others hospitals can't hold them even if they're just going to go on the streets and mumble. I'd bet you that a LOT of our homeless because of that unfortunate policy are mentally ill. Danger to yourself doesn't just mean suicide. It means remembering to eat, trying to stay healthy, etc. Some of these people aren't mentally capable of such things especially if they are on their catatonic periods sometimes :\ He's right. It isn't that simple because a lot of these guys just aren't able to get a job if they aren't on their meds.

Heroin isn't all natural...it is usually mixed with brick dust and talcum powder, among other things.

But that's only with the cut. Pure stuff is pure and natural and highly dangerous which is why they cut it. The point is it doesn't really matter. A lot of hallucinogens are illegal too even though they are perfectly natural. I'm just saying he should have used a better argument which doesn't have holes that are very obvious.

It could be argued that everything is natural, since it's all made from naturally occurring elements.
    But that's a little mean tongue.gif

I agree with this totally. I'm on a diet right now, and I'm feeling a hell of a lot better than I was doing. smile.gif

If he wanted to make a better argument he would of used the whole weed and cigarettes clichéd comparison, but he just wanted to get laughs. Only take this guy half seriously, because that is what he was aiming for.

No matter whether he was serious or not, he speaks the truth.
