Yes. Right now I think we're going to try and formulate a plan to get these 3 variable ones decoded again, and when we get something out, we will let everyone know.

We need a programmer who hasn't completed theirs yet.
I'll try and get this fixed as soon as possible, Neocodex apologies for any inconvenience.

You could just make a new account There doesn't seem to be any age limit on the plot

Which you probably would have found, if you ever left the Downloads section.
Hehe.
The actual plot topic, if anyone wants to reference it, is here: http://www.neocodex....showtopic=77013

8 Symbols?
Do you mean like the Char. count? You just count one for each letter that's being used...
So,
A, B, C, D... that'd be four.
So would:
A, B, C, C, C, D.
Is that what you mean?

Reading around I've seen people mention that you don't need to access the site at all using the program, making it undecectable.. yet you need to visit that page with your message ID.
..correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't TNT be able to figure out who's using the program, and who isn't by checking to see who visted the pages with the ID at the end?
Unless of course I'm just being uber paranoid and reading into the instructions too much.

Hmm, the plot is in Acrobat Flash format right? I believe that the flash program has to go to that URL anyways, so whether you're running the flash program on the Neopets site, or visiting the link, they can't tell the difference (unless you use a referer, but copy/pasting it and putting it right into the address bar won't do anything).

Well that would explain the loading time when switching from messages.
Sorry, I obviously wasn't thinking. The thought of that hadn't crossed my mind.

;; That's alright. When in doubt, listen to ShadowLink. That man knows his stuff.
It's like the Wheel of Monotony "Cheat" where you can see your prize outcomes or collect them even after you click out of the page...
The flash program has to go to that page eventually.

First, you translate your keys into numbers:
So ABCD would become 1234 and GDBCAFD would be 7423164 etc
Then you add each corresponding character to each other in the keys.
So if we have the keys:
DBCD
BBDC
BCDA
CBDB
They would be:
4234
2243
2341
3242
And added vertically:
4+2+2+3 = 11
2+2+3+2 = 9
3+4+4+4 = 15
4+3+1+2 = 10
Now we see how many different characters we have in our modifier keys:
In the case above it's 4 (A,B,C,D).
So we work out what the remainder is when the numbers above are divided by 4.
4*2 = 8. 11-8 = 3
4*2 = 8. 9-8 = 1
4*3 = 12. 15-12 = 3
4*2 = 8. 10-8 = 2
So 3,1,3,2 would become
CACB which would be the final result of the encoding.
