iSpy Utility... and some IBStore Help

By now, some of you will have heard about the iSpy utility that has been recently added to the board. If not, you haven't missed anything because this is the official announcement for the utility. tongue.gif

Basically, iSpy is a tool you can use to keep track of new posts that are being made while you are browsing other areas of the board. You can find it by clicking the dropdown menu on the very top for "Forum Tools", and it's right on the bottom of the list.

It continually updates when a new post is made onto the forums and it is pretty fun to watch if you have some time and when the board is active smile.gif. Without providing any special features, it's a pretty neat little utility for the board tongue.gif.

The default refresh rate on iSpy is 20 seconds for all users, since we don't want to bog down the server too much. tongue.gif

Other Announcements:
  • Trading Post:
    • Sorry for leaving you all out of the loop on this one. No, I have not heard anything about the Trading Post yet and as soon as I can get someone to work on it some more, progress will be made here. If we cannot find anyone to volunteer more of their time, then it will have to wait until Hydro, I, or a member of the Tech Team have enough time on their hands to tackle it. Sorry for the massive delay everyone, I know this was announced a very long time ago, but it was assuming that the project was to be completed. I suppose I have learned some lessons in this time not to announce stuff until I am sure it's going to be done.
  • IBStore Items Help
    • I am looking for some help with the Name Effects section of the IBStore. Basically, we have a problem and I'm hoping that we as a community can figure this out. First problem is the CSS filters. Basically, they work just fine in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox, and because lots of our users are Firefox users, this is kind of useless to me. So.. I was wondering, does anyone have any information on where I can get mozilla filters for the Glow and Drop Shadow effects, or just some other really neat Firefox filters to substitute? Please PM me if you know. tongue.gif I know there are some available but I just can't find where they are again. If you can find this for me, I can get these items up faster. tongue.gif

That's all for now. smile.gif

I had a look for the firefox thing, but all I found was this link on digg where it undresses/dresses a girl by scrolling up/down the page. xD Lol, not really useful for here.

Well, when someone tells you that they will have it done by Christmas and then it doesn't get done, there's not much I could do. 1we8.gif I won't be doing that again, that's for sure.

Yeah, probably not. tongue.gif I heard somewhere it has to do with "moz-filters" or something. Maybe I can get my hands on a CSS guideline of some sort for Mozilla browsers?
