He does seem to have an increased chance of taking the attractor, but you should know on Neopets that nothing is a sure thing.

Really it's just easier to carry around a bunch of different junk items whenever you're doing anything. Decreases the chance of anything valuable being taken.

Yeah, If you have an important item in your inventory I'd say buy a few PDAs and then have a whole bunch of junk in your inventory for extra measure.
