I'm 14. It's been well over a year since I've had a girlfriend...

Any tips as to how I can find and hook a girl? I really need one for this summer... don't wanna spend it away with just boys again. biggrin.gif Guys any advice? (Don't wanna sound like an ass but I don't wanna any "Just wait for the right girl, she'll come along sooner or later"... I need that girl sooner, feeling lonely a lot lately.)

    Damn, you're 14, you've no need for a girl tongue.gif

Just go out and socialize with some girls, I'm sure you'll make a few friends and maybe even get a girlfriend out of it. At your age, it should be about having fun, not being in relationships laugh.gif

    Meh, I mature fast wink.gif

And all those chick flicks my mom "forced" me to enjoy has me wanting a girlfriend bad... it's like my masculinity depends on it now! Heck, I even researched french kissing... (never really FKed my ex since I didn't know how sad.gif )

save your time, frustration, and money. An average date these days costs more than a "professional escort" tongue.gif

Christ I developed early too but I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 15. Like Pyke said you don't need one tongue.gif But I can understand wanting to spend some time with the opposite sex. Guys are no good for touchy feely stuff. And hmmm with the whole french kissing thing it's not really... at least I personally don't like it as much as regular kissing.

If your culture is anything like ours (can't be that different in this, aye?) try to make the first move if you think a girl likes you. Don't wait too long or she'll get frustrated and you'll lose her. Of course no cheesy pick up lines. Bad idea xD Just be yourself and don't try to impress her too much.

adonis :Yeah... my wallet was cut in half at one time just because of gifts... not an actual date mind you!

Cyo : A girlfriend at 14... many things dude biggrin.gif But I'm after the love connection really wink.gif

EDIT : Yes Tetiel, that's what I'm after biggrin.gif. Well is playing the " proud and a bit of a jerk" role okay? wink.gif My girl friends (friends that are girls) laugh at my attitude and hit me playfully when I do that...

Actually, the few times I've had a girlfriend, they were the ones who hinted at me first... and they were obvious signs (one gave me a list of the Top 10 guys she liked in our village, I was at top, I kinda got the hint there wink.gif ). I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to girls until after they've approached me and flirted a little...

Haha honestly at 14 you really don't need a girlfriend tongue.gif. But I guess the best way to get one is just to make friends with girls, a relationship might blossom from there. You can't exactly force these sorts of things , even if you could they wouldn't last very long because of it tongue.gif. (Well, with the exception of arranged marriages I guess, considered asking your parents to sort out one of those? tongue.gif)

Edit: Also I agree with what Tet said, French Kisses are okay occasionally, I always feel a bit claustraphobic if the other half is wanting them too often though (like every few seconds x-x).

A lot, a girl in my year had done it all by 13 and it was even less unusual for a guy =/.

Edit: Raaawr pyke you got in the way of my add reply just adding to the bottom of my post sad.gif

Ok, first things first, don't research shit like that. It's something you can find out on your own over the years.

Maturing fast has nothing to do with wanting a girlfriend. Typically the idea comes about when you find a girl that you like, not because of movies you've seen. If you're looking for a girlfriend so you're not lonely over the summer, I honestly don't know what to tell you. Just go ask some girls out if it's that simple.

Just because I'm such a lovely guy, I merged your posts. Happy mich? tongue.gif

Well the only tips I could give you are to be funny (not lolrofl jokes, just funny, you understand what I'm sayin'?) and be confident. Yeah, chicks dig confidence like totally.

Haha girls love assholes so go for it xD Well especially around that age. But don't go too overboard but for some reason girls like guys who act like jerks for some reason. As soon as you catch her though just make sure she knows there's another side tongue.gif

In our culture, boys only ask girls out when they are pushed together in private meetings like soirees. It's that way until 17+ where we can go into clubs and stuff...

It's not like I can go to the mall, eye a girl and just ask her out... If it was that easy, I wouldn't be here asking for help wink.gif. Appreciate all the help btw guys... it's hard for a guy to be so open like this... well not really wink.gif

Umm... technically, if you like this girl and kiss her friend, is that two-timing? You're not girlfriend-boyfriend officially with the girl yet...

Oh oh and to no one in particular, how do you know if you've "caught" a girl? I'm really slow apparently (my friends say so).

Naw it's not two-timing. Unless the girl knew that you were interested in her, then she'll probably throw a bitch-fit.

Well... it's not two timing but if she likes you back she wouldn't appreciate it. I would hope you wouldn't kiss someone without liking them though.

It's not that simple in my place... at least, that's the impression I get after living here for 14 years.

Oh and she found out... and since then she's been a bitch, and her friend (which is also a friend of the friend of the girl) has been a nightmare.

What I'm trying to say is, is it right of them to treat me so horribly now... yeah, I was an asshole I guess, but I was technically a kid... can't they give me a break?

Yeah, I was younger and stupider (Surprise surprise, there is no limit to a boy's stupidity biggrin.gif) at the time and... well, back then whenever a girl would hint that she liked me, my ego skyrocketed to the high heavens and I'd go for her... I would think that I liked her when in truth I was just confused.

6 months? But recently she's been warming up to me... the girl... but it's still not the same as before. Now I just feel like her friend...

But I really don't wanna fall for her again... she was a bitch... hot one, but still. I want a new relationship, something fresh with someone nice biggrin.gif (Don't we all...)

At fourteen, having a girlfriend is pretty much pointless. Sure, you can get a quick fix from making out and/or shagging, but an empty summer relationship doesn't lead to much happiness in the end.
Quite honestly, you'd be better off just trying to get to know a girl and becoming their friend, if you know them well enough you will be able to approach them.
Girls do like jerks, but not assholes. Sexist, wife-beating, dead heads aren't what they are after. Crude humor, teasing, and just fooling around usually works for me. I'm just on a break with dating for a while, it honestly wouldn't be too hard for me to get with someone. Being physically fit also helps, not lack massive muscles, just toned.
The only reason you have fear is because you doubt yourself. Just think about it this way... a lot of the really beautiful girls hardly ever get asked out because most every guy is afraid of being denied, as she is "too beautiful for them."

In the end, we all look like fools to someone, the best you can do is just go for it and accept the chance of denial. There is an upside to this though, you very well may get a yes.

Oh, and when a girl says "maybe" about a date or a relationship, that straight up means no. A lot of times, girls don't know what they want, but those "maybe"s are just to soften the blow. Sadly, the maybe tactic doesn't soften much of anything, usually makes it worse because you keep trying and get denied lol

I know this isn't really what you're looking for but I'd say at 14 you shouldn't really get into a relationship. Fool around all you want (safely of course) and figure out what you like and what you don't like. Don't get all committed at your age!

Secondly, take dating/sex advice you recieve on internet forums with a grain of salt (or many grains). :-P
