Honestly I don't see the need to remove this, just for a couple of complaints that could be solved incredibly easily by simply asking someone via PM to change their text formatting, or removing the hard to read colours.

You said yourself that people would be unhappy if you removed it, in the previous topic on the matter. It was already suggested that the colours which are hard to see on the dark/light skins were removed from the list, but nothing happened. I understand you're all busy but perhaps that could have helped in this case. I think if you added a warning to the top of the font page, saying something similar to "Please ensure your font can be seen clearly on all skins when changing formatting" it could work too?

I think people really like this text mod...I don't know if they would be happy if we took it out . I don't really like it as all the weird colors and centered fonts are annoying to me. But if the members like it...then I guess that's what matters .

It would help if the people who want these things to be taken care of make it as easy as possible for us. We asked for a list of colors they wanted removed and no one sent it to us. It seems that people always get upset with staff for being slow with things but those same people never help out even when they are explicitly told that this would help, not mentioning the things we don't ask them to do. I'm not trying to be cynical here or anything but I just wanted to note that point.

I have no problem working hard on codex but things would actually happen and happen faster if it didn't always seem like we were doing all the work and then getting crap for it too .

I hope you can understand where I'm coming from . I'm not angry or annoyed or anything...just stating something .

Sure I could "ignore" those who have a idiotic font setup, but still, then I feel like a bad member for not trying to do the best I possibly can to make a good, educated post.

I agree, this custom font thing is pointless. remove it, I command you.

Yeah, I don't think they should be removed, just an option to ignore the font effects, like we had an option to ignore sigs

I'd rather either leave them on or remove them completely. Creating an option to view them and not view them requires more work for the programming team on codex and sets us back in terms of what we really need to do . If we can avoid doing any coding and can find a better solution, then that's probably easier and allows us to concentrate on what's really important on the site: neopets tools and bettering the community. I don't mean it in a harsh way but I just don't want us to get sidetracked again . For some time Neocodex became an IPB modding site or something and I just don't want to go down that path .
