According to the AC, Meowclops are 11mill now? I saw people lending them for 5mill yesterday.

I guess those who already own them suddenly got very lucky, if they sell now.

I honestly think this is a case of artificial inflation.

A group of people probably bought all of the Meowclops available and put a few up asking for 11mil, trying to up the price. They'll deflate back down to normal, or at least close to it once they realize they aren't fooling anybody.

I do agree with that, as do a lot of people. The only ones available on the trading post when I checked ranged from 11-15 million, and there weren't a great deal of them. Hopefully it will go back down, and quickly.

I'd say fake inflation. Especially since yesterday they were 5 mil. They should be back down to normal after a while.

I hate greedy neopians, especially when it comes to artificial inflation. It's a game, so I don't see why you should make someone's experience worse because you feel like you don't have enough money.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I mention that they were that low, heck when the avatar first came out they hovered around 30-40k for the longest time then slowly inflated up to about 100k and stayed there for a good 6 months.

Then of course after that TNT started pumping out avatars like nuts, and everyone wanted to get every single one of them..practically doubled the price in a week after that. >_>

People will want to try and keep the price high because of things like that, they won't want to have wasted their NP.

what sucks is when a group of people artifically inflate shit. I ended up taking a trade yesterday where I posted an ETS 450k item and was offered at the time an item going for 2-3mil on the tp(6+ of them in that range). Needless to say it was too good to be true and I will only make 500k off it all the same

At that time, I don't believe Neopets did have sponsor links.
They did have the odd "sign up here and get about five neopoints" though, but nothing on the current scale.

Yeah they used to give access to the Fountain Faerie if you signed up for like 5+ sponsors or something. I painted my Shoyru Desert that way, way back in the day ^^

Wow...the cost of those is just ridiculous. I've only just now out of the 58months I have had my NP account got over 1.1m NP. I do dailies some games(not all) and just hope to get lucky but in the end just waste time, it's hard to get NP if you aren't lucky or at least I see it that way. I've checked around necodex I see grabbers, feeders, APers, ABers....etc. All look fun to use to kill wasting time away manually to get NP. It sucks to see how greedy people really are to artificially inflate something just to scam people out of hard earned NP.

tbh i think if it wasnt an avie pet it wouldl struggle to be a ub! the problem with the meowclops is thats becasue its retired tarla cant give it out therefore the tnts hand are tied!
